Study the effect on rate of auto-oxidative drying of linseed oil with copper and iron-based
catalyst and subsequently verification using NMR.
Investigated the effect of co-catalyst to accelerate activity of catalyst at room temperature.

Synthesis of Microcapsules using oil in water in-situ emulsion polymerization where core
and shell material used as linseed oil and poly(urea-formaldehyde) verified using FT-IR,

Fabrication of self-healing epoxy coating using dip coating with different composition of
microcapsules and catalyst prepared earlier.
Corrosion resistance performance of coating was evaluated using salt spray test followed
by optical microscopy and Tafel polarization for long term stability test.
The microcapsule and self-healing coating were characterized by using Optical microscope,
TGA, SEM, FESEM-EDX, NMR, FT-IR.
