Part 1:
1. Right now, do you live in a house or in a flat?
Right now, I live in a flat because after graduating from high
school, I want to move to a new city to learn university. Therefore,
I am living far from home and renting a flat to live alone.
Right now, I live in a house with my family because after
graduating from high school, I still choose my hometown to learn
university. Therefore, right now, I am living with my parents and
can enjoy private/comfortable space in my house such as garden,
bed room and so on.
2. What are the benefits and drawbacks of living in a flat?
There are many benefits of living in a flat. Firstly, living in a flat is
very convenient for me to travel because it is very near my
university. Moreover, living in a flat can help me become more
independent because I have to do everything by myself such as
cooking, cleaning house and so on. However, living in a flat is
very expensive because I have to pay for renting (việc thuê) every
month.
3. What are the benefits and drawbacks of living in a house?
There are many benefits of living in a house. Firstly, living in a
house can help me save a lot of money because I don’t have to pay
for renting a flat every month.(Moreover, when living in a house, I
can feel comfortable to enjoy private space such as garden, bed
room and so on). However, living in a house is not convenient for
me to travel because my house is far from my university.
Part 2: you and your husband( wife) want to choose a place to live
after getting married among 3 options: living with parents, buying
a flat near the city center, and buying a house 10 km far away.
Which one is the best choice for you and your husband( wife).
When choosing a place to live after getting married among 3 options:
living with parents, buying a flat near the city center, and buying a house
10 kilometers far away. I believe that buying a flat near the city center is
the best choice for me and my husband because of the following reasons.
There are many reasons why I choose to buy a flat near the city
center. Firstly, when living in a flat, I and my husband can feel
comfortable to do everything we like without fear. Moreover,
when living in a flat near the city center, it is very convenient for
me and my husband to access to( truy cập) modern facility such as
school, hospitals, shopping mall and so on. Therefore, it can help
me and my husband save a lot of time and money to travel. Finally,
living in a flat can help us enhance social network because there
are a lot of families who live in the same floor( chung tầng) with
my family. As a result, we can a chance to meet a lot of people and
easily make new friends.
However, there are some reasons why I don’t choose the other
options. I don’t choose to live with parents because we don’t have
a private space to do everything we like. Moreover, I worry that I
and my mother-in-law will have some conflicts( mâu thuẫn) which
is very hard for my husband to handle( giải quyết). Besides, buying
a house 10 km far away is not my choice because it is far from the
city center, so it is inconvenient for me and my husband to travel.
In short, I still believe that buying a flat near the city center is the
most suitable choice for me and my husband to live after getting
married.

+ convenient for me and my husband to travel-> near the city
center-> easy to access to modern facility -> enhance the quality
of our lives
+ can feel comfortable to do everything we like without fear.
+ enhance social network-> there are a lot of families who live
in the same floor-> meet a lot of people and make new friends.
- Live with parents:
+ cannot feel comfortable to do whatever we like
+ I worry that I and my mother-in-law will have some conflicts
which is very hard for my husband to handle.
- Buy 10 km far away:
- not convenient for me and my husband to travel-> far from the
city center-> take a lot of time and money to travel

- Live with parents:
+ save a lot of money than…-> use this amount of money to do
other things such as investing or doing business to earn money
+ convenient for me and my husband( wife) to take care my
parents because my parents are old.
+ in the future, my parents can help me and my husband to look
after our children so that we can focus on working and easily
get promotion in job.
- Flat: expensive-> not suitable/ cannot afford to buy
Besides, buying a house 10 kilometer far away is not my choice
because
- House 10 km away: not convenient for me and my husband to
travel-> far from the city center-> take a lot of time and money
to travel
