DTPL Wire & Cable division is established in the year 2013 & has state of the
art facility for Wire drawing & Extrusion. Wire drawing machines are from
Niehoff Germany & Extrusion machines from Royle USA.
Product range includes all types of Automotive & Electric cables from 0.13
sqmm up to 50.0 sq.mm for continuous temperature application from 70°c to
150°c.
Speciality products include Foil Shielded Cables & Tin copper Braided cables &
Flexibles
Cables are certified by BIS, VDE, IEC/CB, & UL for single & multi core cables
Plant has installed Mfg. Capacity of 9000 Cable kms of Single core cables and
1500 kms of multi core cables per month.
Plant is Well equipped with advanced test laboratory for Validation & testing
of products as per relevant Test specifications
All the products are manufactured with compliance to RoHS / REACH
regulations.

 Overview of Stamping & Molding Division

Terminal & Connector Division, established in 2013 is backward integration of Harness Division.

Molding machines which uses industrial grade plastic as raw material injects molten plastic in Molds to form
desired shapes. Shapes of parts mainly depends on capacity, Accuracy of molding machine & Quality Molds.
Wide product range such as Fuse Boxes, Connectors, Switch housing & Sensor housing are some examples.
13 Sumitomo all electric Molding Machines ranging from 50 T to 250 T With Capacity of producing 5 million
connectors & 1.5 million fuse boxes per month.

Terminal is produced by Stamping process which requires Copper/Brass strips as Raw Material. Quality of
Produced Terminal mainly depends on Press selection, Press tool & Raw Material. DTPL Metal stamping
operations consist of High Speed Press Machines primarily comprised of Yamada Presses for the highest
quality stamping action 30 ~ 80 T capacity. Monthly production capacity is 60 million Terminals.

Products, Press Tool & Molds are designed & manufactured in house. On an average 8 ~ 12 weeks lead time
for Press Tool & 14 ~ 18 Weeks for Mould depending on no of Cavity on an average.

Well equipped in-house Toolroom which supports manufacturing of High Speed Progressive Stamping tools
& High accuracy Molds consists. Toolroom consists of Agie-Charmilles, Sodick, Makino EDM, WIRE EDM
machines & CNC machines.
