INFO AND TIPS


Edge stitches​
RS: k1, work in seed stitch until 1 st remains, k1.
WS: p1, work in seed stitch until 1 st remains, p1.

Seed stitch
Row 1: *k1, p1*, repeat from * to * throughout the row.
Hereafter, p the k sts and k the p sts on all rows.​
All increases and decreases are worked in seed stitch.

BACK PIECE
Rib
Co 43 (47, 53, 57) sts with needle US 10 / 6 mm.
Row 1, WS: p1, *k1, p1*, repeat from * to * throughout the row.
Row 2, RS: k1, *p1, k1*, repeat from * to * throughout the row.
Repeat these 2 rows, until the edge measures 3.1’’ / 8 cm. End with a RS row.

Body
Change to needle US 11 / 8 mm.
Continue in seed stitch with 1 edge st on each side.​
Work 4 rows. End with a RS row.

Increasing
WS: 1 edge st, yo, seed stitch until 1 st remains, yo, 1 edge st.
RS: 1 edge st, work the yo in seed stitch, work until 1 st remains, work the yo in seed stitch, 1 edge

Armhole decreases
RS: 1 edge st, k2tog, seed stitch until 3 sts remain, ​
k2tog, 1 edge st = 43 (47, 51, 55) sts.
WS: seed stitch.
Repeat these 2 rows another 1 (2, 3, 4) time(s) = 41 (43, 45, 47) sts.
Work even, until the armhole measures 9.1’’ (9.4’’, 9.8’’, 10.2’’) / 23 (24, 25, 26) cm. End with a WS
row.​

Shoulder
RS: bo 10 (11, 12, 13) sts, work the rest of the row.
WS: bo 10 (11, 12, 13) sts.

Neck
Place the remaining 21 (21, 21, 21) sts for the neck on a stitch holder.

FRONT PIECE
The front piece is worked following the same procedure as for the back piece, until the work
measures 13.8’’ (14.2’’, 15’’, 15.4’’ / 35 (36, 38, 39) cm = 41 (43, 45, 47) sts on the needle. End with a
WS row.

Neckline​
RS: 1 edge st, work 13 (14, 15, 16) sts in seed stitch, 1 edge st. Place the remaining sts on a stitch
holder.

Left-hand side
WS: 1 edge st, work in seed stitch until 1 st remains, 1 edge st.
RS: 1 edge st, work in seed stitch until 3 sts remain (at the neck side), k2tog, 1 edge st.
Repeat these 2 rows, until 10 (11, 12, 13) sts remain.
Work even, until the armhole measures 9.8’’ (10.2’’, 10.6’’, 11’’) / 25 (26, 27, 28) cm.
Place a marker at the sleeve side = shoulder.
Work for another 0.8’’ / 2 cm. End with a WS row.

NB! The front piece is longer than the back piece. Therefore, the place where the front piece and
the back piece are stitched together is placed a bit down the back.
Place 11 (11, 11, 11) sts on a stitch holder.

Right-hand side
RS: 1 edge st, work in seed stitch until 1 st remains, 1 edge st.
WS: 1 edge st, work in seed stitch until 1 st remains, 1 edge st.
RS: 1 edge st, k2tog, work in seed stitch until 1 st remains, 1 edge st.
Repeat the last 2 rows, until 10 (11, 12, 13) sts remain.
Work until the armhole measures 9.8’’ (10.2’’, 10.6’’, 11’’) / 25 (26, 27, 28) cm.

FINISHING AND EDGES


Neckline​
Sew together one of the shoulder seams.

RS: place the 21 neck sts on needle US 10 / 6 mm, pick up sts along the neckline, work the 11 front
piece sts on the stitch holder, pick up sts along the neckline = approx 63-69 sts. ​
Row 1, WS: p1, *k1, p1*, repeat from * to * throughout the row.
Row 2, RS: k1, *p1, k1*, repeat from * to * throughout the row.
Repeat these 2 rows, until the edge measures 0.8’’ / 2 cm.
Bo in rib.
Sew together the other shoulder seam and the neckline.

Sleeve edges​
Begin from the RS at the side seam.
RS: using needle US 10 / 6 mm, pick up approx 32 (33, 35, 36) sts on each side of the shoulder
marker as well as 1 st at the marker = approx 65 (67, 71, 73) sts.
Row 1, WS: p1, *k1, p1*, repeat from * to * throughout the row.
Row 2, RS: k1, *p1, k1*, repeat from * to * throughout the row.
Repeat these 2 rows, until the edge measures 0.8’’ / 2 cm.
Bo in rib.​
Sew the side seam and the sleeve seam together.​
Same procedure for the other edge.
