FUNGICIDE SOLUTION FOR POSTHARVEST TREATMENT OF CITRUS FRUIT,


APPLES, PEARS, BANANAS AND MELONS

Purpose:
Aqueous solution of IMAZALIL fungicide for use in drencher or fungicide applicator, for post-harvest
treatment of citrus fruit, apples, pears, bananas and melons. Effective against the main fungi that are
responsible for rotting, including Penicillium spp, Diplodia spp, etc. Inhibits spore production of existing
fungi and prevents these from spreading.

Composition:
IMAZALIL..................... 7.5% w/v (as imazalil sulphate)

Properties:
Appearance: Transparent slightly yellow liquid.
Odour: Odourless
pH (5%, 20ºC): 1.0 – 2.5
Density at 20ºC (Kg/L): 1.020 – 1.050

Instructions for use and dosage:


Instructions for use: FRUITGARD-IS-7,5 is applied either with a drencher or with a fungicide applicator
(only in the case of citrus fruits). In Drencher, prepare the solution using the recommended dose and wet
the fruit for 25-30 seconds. In the case of the fungicide applicator; mix the product using the
recommended dose and spray onto clean fruit.

Dosis:
Drencher: 0.5 – 0.6% v/v i.e. 5 – 6 litres per 1000 litres of water
(citrus, apples, pears, melons and bananas)

Fungicide applicator (only for citrus fruits): 2 – 2.5 % v/v i.e. 2 – 2.5 litres per 100 litres of water.
(Spending approx. 1-1.5 liters of treatment solution per ton of fruits).

Where required by law in the country of destination, boxes containing the treated fruit must be labelled as
“Fruit treated with Imazalil”.

Packaging:
Plastic tank. Net contents: 10 Litres.
