The MARE GTC 700 is built of marine grade aluminium plates. Gunwale and chine extrusion

From bow to the transom the working deck is of heat-treated non-skid Marine Grade
Aluminium. The deck area is self drained through tubes in the transom plate.
The hull is extended beyond the transom to prevent sprays of water entering the boat.
The hull below main deck is divided into several watertight compartments in compliance with
class society rules.
Hull design and seaworthiness:
The MARE GTC 700 is designed with extremely high seaworthiness. The means that it can
handle extreme weather and equally important; the crew are subjected to least possible
strains and injuries.
Wearing appropriate protective clothing, the personnel can stay out at sea for long periods
and cover long distances whenever required.
This seaworthiness is achieved by using a deep V sections combined with wide angle chine
plates on which the boat runs in following seas and which keeps the boat dry against the seas.
In addition, wide spray stoppers are provided below the chine working in the same way.
These solutions make the MARE GTC 700 extremely dry and stability increases with speed.

Capsize reversal equipment

In case of a capsize situation, the crew in the water can pull a clearly marked handle located
behind the transom near the bottom.
This releases a high pressure gas cylinder which blows up a large capsize reversal PVC bag.
The buoyance of this bag rightens the boat quickly, the crew climbs onboard, starts the
engine and continue using the boat. This system is a part of required tests which the boat
must pass before obtaining approval of the FRC class.
