Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Manager to oversee the
organization’s technology infrastructure, systems, and IT support services.
The IT Manager will be responsible for managing the IT team, ensuring
network security, maintaining hardware and software systems, and
supporting the digital needs of the business. This role requires strong
technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to align IT operations
with overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the daily operations of the IT department,
including helpdesk, infrastructure, and systems administration.
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of
software, hardware, and networks.
Ensure data security, network access, and backup systems are in
place and functioning correctly.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize
downtime and disruption.
Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs
and deliver appropriate solutions.
Manage relationships with vendors and external IT service providers.
Plan and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI on
technology investments.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and assess their
potential benefits to the organization.
Train and support staff in the use of new and existing systems.
Ensure compliance with relevant IT standards, laws, and regulations
(e.g., data protection and cybersecurity policies).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in IT management or similar roles.
Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, security, and
infrastructure management.
Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and
enterprise systems.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and risk management.
Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA, PMP)
are a plus.
