Up-and-Coming Artist

Poem dedicated to EM Productions Multimedia Services​

This is my platform of opportunities,


For lyrics to be heard, and fiddles sounding,
I’ve spend most of my hours, singing to myself,
But now I break my cage, free from these endless thoughts.

As words are flowing down like endless rain into a paper cup,
Thought meander like a restless wind inside the letterbox,
Pools of sorrow, waves of joy,
All drifting through my open mind, possessing and caressing me.

I write through my suppressed voice,


Sounding out each melody and lyric one by one.
As the song draws to a near close,
I cherish every single memory I sang.

The world is also in a state of suppressed feelings,


With words unsung and heard, they are in need to relate to others,
All contemplating has finally paid off,
Establishing my title as an up-and-coming artist.
