GUIDELINES for the Events:
1.Debate (Competition)
● Time limit: 7- 10 minutes
● Number of Participants from each collage/University is 2
● Topic should be related to the theme of the fest
● The ideas conveyed should be original, plagiarism is not allowed
● Imitating any personality is not allowed
● Participants can use music if needed
● Participants are allowed to use make up if required
● Vulgarity and use of obscene language will lead to disqualification
● Venue(A5)
● Timings- 11:00-1:00
2 . DANCE
● Total entries-8
● The competition will be held in Room C2
● The dance performances should creatively explore the connection between dance and psychology.
The competition includes both solo and group performances.
● Group performances shall consist of 2 to 8 members.
● Solo performances should be between 3 to 5 minutes.
● Group performances should be between 4 to 8 minutes.
● Exceeding the time limit may result in point deductions, so please adhere to the allotted time.
● Participants must submit their music in MP3 format on a USB drive at least 30 minutes before
their scheduled performance time.
● Ensure the music is edited and ready to play without additional adjustments.
● Costumes should be relevant to the theme and suitable for the chosen dance style.
● All props must be approved prior to the competition to ensure safety.
● Only one entry is allowed per department, college, or school.
● Once registered, no replacements of team members are permitted.
● Choreography: Originality, technique, and how effectively the movements align with the theme.
● Respectful conduct is expected from all participants on and off stage.
● Arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled performance time to finalize registration and
music.
● After your performance, please exit the stage promptly to allow the next participants to prepare.
3. Meme & Poster Competition
● The theme will be announced on the day of the competition. Make sure to arrive on time to
receive the theme details and start promptly.
● Participants will have 2 hours to complete their posters. Please manage your time effectively to
complete your artwork.
● The competition will take place in Room A512.
● Participants must bring their own materials, such as paper, colors (pencils, markers, paints),
brushes, and any other art supplies they may need.
● Paper size should be A3. Any other sizes may not be eligible for judging.
● Digital tools and electronic devices are not allowed. All posters must be created by hand.
● Only one participant per poster.
● Each participant must create their poster on-site in Room A512 during the designated time.
● The poster should clearly represent the theme and convey a meaningful message.
● Participants are encouraged to use creativity, color, and symbolism to communicate effectively.
● No pre-made stencils, printed images, or pre-drawn artwork are allowed.
● All artwork must be original and created solely by the participant on-site.
● Posters must be submitted at the end of the allotted time for judging.
● Each poster should have the participant's name and registration number written on the back for
identification.
4. Declamation Venue-C2
Participants must choose a speech, monologue, or excerpt related to psychology, mental health,
human emotions, or motivation.
The speech should be from a famous personality, psychologist, philosopher, or historical
figure (e.g., Martin Luther King Jr., Viktor Frankl, Carl Rogers, etc.).
Original speeches are not allowed—only pre-existing speeches can be performed.
The speech should not contain offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content.
Each participant is given 3 to 5 minutes to deliver their speech.
Exceeding the time limit will result in a penalty.
Participants must conclude within the allotted time to avoid disqualification.
5 Brainstorming : (Competition)
Venue A510
● One entries per department/ college/ school
● Duration – 30 minutes.
● Only team entries are eligible.
● A team shall consist of max two persons.
● The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile or other electronic instruments.
● Replacement of any participant of a team is not allowed after registration.
● Stage rounds: The quiz will have 3 rounds totally
. 6. SKIT
Venue- A2
● Timing: 11:00-1:00
● Each department, college, or school is allowed to submit only one entry.
● Total entries-Maximum 10
● The maximum duration for each skit is 8 minutes
● Only team entries are eligible to participate.
● Each team must consist of Min 5 and Max 10 persons.
● Participants are not allowed to use mobile phones or other electronic devices during the
performance.
● No changes or replacement of team members are permitted after the registration process is
complete

General rules:
● Each participant should carry identity proof.
● Students taking part in the events should register on the day of the fest at the registration committee.
On spot entry is not obliged.
● Students should refrain from abusive language, obscene display and revealing costumes during the
competitions, failing which they will be disqualified.
● Smoking, drinking and consumption of any such ‘substances’ are prohibited.
● The judges’ decision is final.
● Participants should go through the event rules and adhere to the specifics.
● Participation, props, music etc for certain events should be confirmed Preregistration if required by
contacting the event committee.
● A participant can participate only in one event during the simultaneous timings for events; a
participant is not restricted to participation in any number of events as long as the event timings do
not clash.
● All the events will commence at the scheduled time; Punctuality will be appreciated.
● Rules are subject to changes at the discretion of the Management/Organizers.
● Criteria for Overall championship include the total scores obtained in the competitions.
Code of Conduct
● Participants must arrive at least 30 minutes before their event starts.
● Any form of plagiarism, misconduct, or disruptive behavior will lead to immediate
disqualification.
● The use of offensive language, discriminatory remarks, or sensitive topics is strictly prohibited.
5. Awards & Recognition
● Certificates will be provided to all participants.
● Winners will receive trophies, cash prizes, and special recognitions.
