Skill: easy crochet

Materials: Abbreviations: st= stitch
- crochet hook size N or size needed to ch= chain sk=skip
obtain gauge and/or final measurements sl st= slip stitch
- approximately 400 yards of super bulky sc= single crochet
weight 6 yarn
- large-eye needle Gauge: 2sc = 1 inch
Final Measurements: 88 in. long pre-fringe; 9 in. wide

Make fringe: Cut 60 fringe, each 22


inches long. (This gives you a few
spare fringe if needed.) Set aside.

Scarf: Ch27, turn.

Row1: Starting in 2nd ch from hook,


2sc in next ch, sc in each of next 11
ch, sk 2 ch, sc in each of next 11 ch,
2sc in last ch (26st)

Row2-120 (or until yarn runs out):


Work in back loops only. Ch1, turn.
2sc in first st, sc in each of next 11st,
sk 2 st, sc in each of next 11st, 2sc in
last st (26st)

Add fringe: For each fringe, place 2


strands together and fold in half. Pull
the loops through alternating stitches
on each end of the scarf. Pull the
ends through the loops and pull tight.
Trim if desired.
