The chart give data of the proportion of males and females working in different careers including

manual and non-manual in 1992 in Britan.

It is clear that , the percentage of non-manual jobs worked by females is higher than that of their
counterparts , while the manual jobs was more popuplar for britian’men.

Nearly a fourth of total in males chose craft or similar, while the figures for female was lower,just about
3%.In term of general laborers, the figures for both sex was the lowest,stood at only 2% and 1% for men
and women respectively.Meanwhile,other manual’ figures was similar in both group,at over a fourth of
total.

In addition,the females worked mainly in clerical or related group(about 31%),compared to only 6% that
of males in Britan.Also , the managerial and professional’figures was high in two genders,while the
figures for non-manual was lower, stood at only 6%for men and 9% for women.
