The document is a plant report on Dracaena trifasciata, commonly known as the snake plant, detailing its care requirements and a three-week observation of the plant's condition. Initially, the plant was placed in a sunny area and watered regularly, but it suffered damage from a cat and later showed signs of neglect and overwatering. By the third week, parts of the plant dried out due to inconsistent care and root rot.

Plant report

Snack plant:

- Dracaena trifasciata is a species of flowering plant in the family Asparagaceae,

native to tropical West Africa from Nigeria east to the Congo. It is most commonly
known as the snake plant, Saint George's sword, mother-in-law's tongue, and viper's
bowstring hemp, among other names.
⁃ Snake plants require a soil mix that allows excess water to flow
through, preventing root rot.

- Snake Plant only needs to be watered fortnightly, allowing its soil to completely
dry out between waterings to prevent overwatering and root rot. During the winter
months feel free to only water your snake plant once a month if the soil is still
moist after 2 weeks.

1st week :

Purchase day : the sailor told me to put in a sunny area were, the sun should get
to it directly for 2-6 hours daily and it should be watered every night with an
amount equals half of one cup of water for the 2ml on top to avoid the roots rot
and i let it dry for the next day and repeat the same process for the next week

2nd week

I recognized that my cat played with some of the leaves and destroyed part of the
plant leaves i tried cutting it and mixing the soil to let more oxygen it and
watered it one cup of water and set it out side in the balcony but after few days I
recognized that some of the leaves are getting yellow and thiner than it was

3rd week

I neglected it because of the work and university , some parts of it started to dry
because of my neglecting and forgetting some days without watering, parts of it got
dry and the soil got rotted
