In conventional AC motors, the speed of rotation

depends on the load on the motor. As a result, as the

load increases, so does the motor speed. In the case of
Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM)
provided by Escon, the rotation speed is directly
proportional to the frequency of the power supply;
there are no gears.

The motor is fixed to the traction sheave, with no

connection between stator and rotor.

PMSM are compact and light machines with high

efficiency due to the absence of gears. It is less noisy

As the name suggests, it governs the speed by

applying brakes to the elevator in case it ever exceeds
its rated speed. Fail-safe devices like these ensure
strict adherence to safety standards.

Power- haul Geared Elevator Machine

The Elevio range of automatic passenger elevators from Escon employs
advanced technology in vertical transportation. Escon provides a
comfortable, elegant, smooth, and safe mode for up and down movement
in high-rise buildings. Elevio is an amazing blend of state-of-the-art
elevator technology and aesthetic appeal. Escon emphasizes safety and
the need to maintain disruption-free motion for passengers. The Elevio
range of elevators provided to you by Escon Elevators offers various
passenger capacities, speeds, and an array of functional features and
interior layouts to choose from. The MR speed limit is 0.7–1.75 m/s.

In MR-type elevators, machines are placed inside

the machine room directly above the elevator shaft.
The control panel is placed inside the machine room.
