                               ABSTRACT
Fuelled by the visionary leadership of Mr. Ajay Verma, founder of PropAnchor, a real estate
startup, This internship assignment explores into the pivotal moments of an employee's
lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. HR's crucial role in areas such as compensation
and benefits, policy development, communication strategies, and performance management
will be meticulously examined with the aim of enhancing the employee experience.
Through rigorous analysis of these functions, the project seeks to understand how feedback
mechanisms are leveraged by HR to cultivate a productive and positive work environment
that fosters employee engagement. This analysis will then be utilized to identify areas for
improvement within the Human Resources department, ensuring a seamless and fulfilling
employee experience that propels PropAnchor's continued success in the competitive real
estate market.

PropAnchor, established in January 2019 and guided by Ajay Varma's inspiring vision is
rapidly establishing itself as a frontrunner in the dynamic real estate industry. The company is
committed to rewriting the industry narrative through a relentless focus on technology,
digitization, and effective sales practices. PropAnchor's mission is to bridge the existing gaps
within the real estate sector, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for its clientele.
At PropAnchor, the focus transcends mere property sales. The company actively simplifies
the complexities associated with real estate purchases, guiding clients through every stage of
the journey. Their tagline, "Make It Happen" embodies their unwavering commitment to
simplifying the property hustle for their valued customers.
PropAnchor boasts a network of renowned developers across Mumbai and Pune, offering its
clients a curated selection of high-quality properties. The company prioritizes simplifying the
real estate buying process, empowering clients with the knowledge they need to make
informed decisions at every step, from the fundamentals to more advanced considerations.

                 PROFILE DETAILS
 A range of crucial functions within the organization is overseen by the HR Generalist,
   ensuring smooth operations and employee satisfaction.
 In Recruitment and Onboarding, staffing needs are identified, job openings are posted,
   resumes are screened, and interviews are conducted to bring in new talent seamlessly.
 Employee Relations involve addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and conducting
   exit interviews when necessary.
 Performance Management entails setting goals, providing feedback, and evaluating
   employee performance to enhance productivity.
 Policy Development and Implementation see policies created and communicated by
   the HR Generalist, ensuring compliance, and handling violations.
 Benefits Administration involves managing employee benefits programs, handling
   inquiries, and collaborating with benefit providers.
 In Training and Development, training needs are identified, programs are developed,
   sessions are conducted, and effectiveness is assessed.

                                OBJECTIVE
The objective of this study is to analyze the multifaceted roles assumed by HR in supporting
employees throughout their organizational tenure, with a specific focus on the development
of onboarding structures, the facilitation of engagement activities for enhanced team bonding,
and the assessment of how incentives and punctuality affect employee pay and benefits. The
aim is to enhance employee retention and organizational success, encompassing other related
factors within this scope.
1.Development of Comprehensive Onboarding Structures: Thorough onboarding
structures will be created to ensure the seamless integration of new hires into company
operations, facilitating their swift acclimatization to the organizational culture and processes.
2. Facilitation of Engagement Activities for Increased Team Bonding: Engagement
activities will be organized to promote stronger interpersonal relationships among team
members, fostering a cohesive and collaborative work environment conducive to productivity
and job satisfaction.
3. Assessment of Incentives and Punctuality on Pay and Benefits: The influence of
incentives and punctuality on employee pay and benefits will be assessed, aiming to optimize
compensation structures in line with performance and attendance metrics.
4. Enhancement of Employee Retention Strategies: Strategies will be formulated to
enhance employee retention rates, leveraging effective onboarding, engagement initiatives,
and fair compensation practices to cultivate a supportive and rewarding workplace
environment.

                        METHODOLOGY
Insights were gathered regarding the necessary engagement activities and their
implementation. The focus was on identifying activities crucial for enhancing employee
engagement and aligning them with company goals . Additionally, methods for efficiently
executing these activities were explored to ensure maximum participation and impact.
Rewards and recognition were deliberated upon within the organization. Strategies for
acknowledging employee contributions and achievements were considered, recognizing the
importance of motivating and rewarding excellent performance. The discussion aimed to
establish a structured framework for implementing reward systems, promoting a culture of
appreciation and acknowledgment across different levels of the organization.
Furthermore, the significance of team bonding through celebratory events, such as birthday
celebrations, was emphasized. Birthdays were highlighted as an opportunity to not only
personalize the workplace culture but also to strengthen relationships among colleagues. This
initiative reflects the organization's commitment to fostering a supportive work environment,
ultimately contributing to enhanced employee morale and satisfaction.

      SPECIFICATIONS OF THE WORK
 1.      Engagement Activities
The need for increased team bonding and an enhanced work environment arose due to the
relocation to Andheri. In response, measures were initiated to foster wellness and mutual
understanding among employees. Following discussions with Ajay sir and Krishna Ma'am, it
was decided that every Wednesday, one hour after lunch, would be dedicated to engagement
activities. Participation in these activities by each team and pairs of teams was mandated,
aimed at not only promoting team cohesion but also deepening comprehension of ongoing
projects and colleagues. Structured engagement activities, including knowledge-sharing
sessions and entertaining exercises, were implemented to alleviate stress and invigorate
employees' enthusiasm and perspective towards their work.
      2. Attendance
The employee structure, comprising both permanent employees and callers paid daily by
vendors, necessitated adherence to distinct rules and working hours. Upon acquiring
understanding, the responsibility of maintaining attendance records and addressing late
remarks was assigned. This encompassed tracking attendance for callers, permanent
employees, and interns.
      3. Induction
The internship, which commenced on 7th Feb, provided an early opportunity to immerse
oneself in the norms and terminologies of the real estate industry. Comprehensive insights
into essential aspects of project pitching and expectations for new joiners were imparted. This

included a thorough understanding of PropAnchor's core values and their integration into
daily work activities.
   4. Understanding and Studying Policy Gaps
An overview of the company's fundamental policies shed light on their underlying values and
rationale. Identified gaps prompted a comprehensive study to streamline various aspects,
enhancing the current work environment and aligning processes for future endeavours. This
involved scrutinizing working dynamics, policies, and the prevailing work environment to
propose structural enhancements.

1. Policy formation understanding:
   The acquisition of analytical skills and comprehension of thought processes
   involved in organizational policy creation.
2. Company rules significance:
   The recognition of the importance and rationale behind the establishment of rules
   and policies in companies.
3. Analytical perspective acquisition:
   The ability to analyze diverse situations and the advantages of adopting a third-
   person perspective for deeper insights are gained.
4. Perspective selection understanding:
   Understanding when to apply a broader perspective and when to opt for a
   narrower approach in decision-making is achieved.

PROSPECTIVE LEARNINGS
1. Understanding Talent Acquisition
An exciting opportunity presents itself to explore the intricate processes of talent
acquisition, where the nuances of identifying, attracting, and retaining skilled
individuals are examined. Through this journey, a deeper understanding of how
organizations strategically align their workforce needs with business objectives is
anticipated, fostering a sense of appreciation for the importance of talent
acquisition in driving organizational success.
2. Familiarization with FNF Procedure
An eagerly awaited learning experience awaits in acquainting oneself with the
Full and Final settlement procedure. This involves gaining insights into the
meticulous steps involved in concluding employment contracts, including the
settlement of pending dues and formalities. By immersing in this process, a
comprehensive understanding of the meticulous attention to detail required in
concluding professional relationships is anticipated, instilling confidence in
navigating similar procedures in the future.
3. Understanding Salary and Promotions Process:
An eagerly anticipated learning opportunity arises to comprehend how salary and
promotion decisions are made within organizations. This entails gaining insights
into the comprehensive evaluations and deliberations undertaken, along with the
meticulous pre-work involved in arriving at final decisions. Through this
exploration, an enriched understanding of the factors influencing compensation

and career progression is anticipated, fostering a deeper appreciation for the
complexities involved in rewarding and recognizing employee contributions.
4. Exploration of Other Policy Formulations:
 An exciting journey awaits in exploring other policy formulations within the
organizational context. This encompasses the opportunity to gain insights into the
development, implementation, and refinement of various organizational policies,
ranging from HR guidelines to operational protocols. By immersing oneself in this
exploration, an enriched understanding of the underlying principles and
considerations shaping organizational policies is anticipated, nurturing a proactive
mindset towards contributing to the enhancement of organizational frameworks
and practices.
