Overview of BYD SEAL U DM-i
Passenger Vehicle
The BYD SEAL U DM-i model is equipped with BYD's latest dual-mode system.
The latest dual-mode system integrates the engine, motor, and high-voltage battery,
allowing users to experience EV/HEV driving mode and ECO/NORMAL/SPORT working mode
while taking into account key performances such as power performance, economy, and
NVH.
The high-voltage battery provides electric energy for the motor to drive the vehicle and can
also charge the 12V battery.
Under pure electric working conditions, it can provide the user with a comfortable driving
and riding environment. There is no exhaust emission when the vehicle is running in pure
electric mode, realizing green trave.l In addition, when running in pure electric mode, the
vehicle has much lower driving cost than the fuel vehicle of the same class.
The vehicle is equipped with a high-efficiency hybrid engine based on a control strategy of
"battery for low-speed driving and fuel for high-speed driving", so the engine of the vehicle
always runs in the best fuel economy range in hybrid mode, ensuring that the vehicle has
the characteristics of extremely low fuel consumption, strong power performance, quiet
and comfortable driving and riding experience.
