– Use your Witcher Senses to find the key to the bedroom door –

Pause Screen > Options.


Gameplay > Gwent Difficulty Level > Easy.
Video - HUD Configuration > Action Log > On.

Video - HUD Configuration > Map Rotate > Off.

Grab the key from the book on the table.

Unlock the door and then go downstairs for a cutscene.

WHITE ORCHARD
MQ: LILAC AND GOOSEBERRIES
– Kill the ghouls –

Ignore this objective as there is no need to kill the ghouls, instead, sprint to the west to
discover the CROSSROADS signpost at the junction.

Now mount your horse and follow the southeast road which will shortly update this main
quest.

XP x 200.

– Follow Vesemir –

Continue following the path to find the RANSACKED VILLAGE signpost and then save your
game. Now kill the 4 x Drowners on the southeast shore when the road bends to the west. If
you don't find Drowner's Brain x 1 on any of these enemies, reload the save and retry. You
can igni the 2 nearby barrels to cause an explosion and deal great damage to the enemies.
Now loot the nearby 2 x chests as well.

The house just west of the signpost has a chest inside containing a Hardened Leather & a
Silver Ingot.

The southwestern house in Ransacked Village has a chest containing a Sapphire and
Hardened Leather. Also loot the Bandit Camp slightly to the northwest to find the Diagram:
Serpentine Steel Sword in chest, there may also be a Lesser Glyph of Igni in one of the
nearby sacks. If you enter this Bandit Camp from the south by traversing the steep cliff, you
can jump into the ruins via the back left window and loot the valuables without having to
engage the enemies.

Once done, continue following the road west and you will trigger a cutscene when you cross
a bridge.

2 - We could use a few crowns (Crowns x 50).

Manual save then exit the Inn

In the fistfight outside the Inn, defeat 1 opponent without taking damage to acquire the

**FIST OF THE SOUTH STAR** Trophy.

Reload that previous save and retry until successful.

XP x 280.

After the fight, head to the west notice board in this village and interact with it to place
multiple markers on the map.

Head north out the village and jump in the middle of the river. Now follow it west, triggering
your sense occasionally and loot the 3 x chests that you will see along the river bed. Once
you loot the 3rd chest, grab some Buckthorn x 1 which is growing beside it as well.

Now continue with the current MQ and discover NILFGAARDIAN GARRISON SP along the
way.

1 - See, you can be nice.

Loot the chest near the QM, then quickly go to the QM for a cutscene and to de-aggro the
soldiers (Nilfgaadian Longsword, Hunting Boots, Cured Leather x 5 & Saltpeter x 5).

MQ: BEAST OF WHITE ORCHARD


Now go back down the steps and talk to the Quartermaster under the canopy. Then sell all
your weapons and armor that aren't equipped.

Make a Manual Save and then head to the nearest southern ? You will find a POP guarded
by a Wraith. Draw the POP (Axii and AP+1), approaching the stone from the east doesn't
spawn the Wraith.

Signpost - Sawmill.

Abandoned Site - 90 x XP.

Loot the chest in the northern house of the abandoned site for a Sapphire.

Enter the hut and talk to the Herbalist.

> Did the Griffin injure this woman.

Buy 1 x Dwarven Spirit - 50 C.


Buy 5 x Celandine - 25 C.
Buy 2 x Calcium Equum - 80 C.

Menu > Character > Strength Training - AP x 3 - Assign.

Continue north to the Broken Bridge and then warp to Woesong Bridge.

Continue with this, head to QM.

Assign THUNDERBOLT POTION and SWALLOW POTION to a slot, then head to the QM
with Vesemir. But loot the chest in the house on the way and the chest behind same house
also.

Defeat and loot the Griffin. Always keep QUEN active, use CROSSBOW to drop Griffin when
it's airborne, and only hit once at a time before dodging back and repeating.

Loot the body.

Loot the nearby chest - Hatchet, Hunting Gauntlets, Silver x 5, Saltpeter x 2, Wolf Hide x 11.

Signpost - Mill.
POP - Igni - AP x 1.

Now go down into the nearby crypt and loot glowing loot from the skeleton in the far right
alcove to get the Diagram: Serpentine Silver Sword. Keep to the outside of the room and you
will not trigger the enemy to spawn.

POP - Aard - AP x 1.
Power Overwhelming - Have all possible Place of Power bonuses active at the same time.

Monster Nest x 1 - Destroy it with a bomb.

Menu > Character > Muscle Memory - AP x 3 - Assign.

Run north to the world's edge and then warp to the QM. Enter the Gaarison.

MQ: BEAST OF WHITE ORCHARD

Warp to WOESONG BRIDGE SP.

Loot the nearby barrel for 1 x Alcohest.

Enter the Inn, make a save, then talk to Vesemir at the QM.

Defeat the enemies, this is a easy spot to get the following trophies, especially if you drop
the difficulty momentarily. If you do drop the difficulty, be sure to reload the recent save to
reset the difficulty change.

Butcher of Blaviken - Kill at least 5 opponents in under 10 seconds.


Can't Touch This! - Kill 5 foes in a fight without taking damage (except for Toxicity) and
without using the Quen sign.

Now grab your equipment from the Chamberlain at the QM, exit the palace and warp to the
Hanged Man's Tree signpost in Velen - No Man's Land.

MQ: THE NILFGARDIAN CONNECTION

If you didn't beat the Gwent Player earlier in the Inn at WOESONG BRIDGE (the tutorial
Player), scan around the large tree you spawn next to here, and you will find a small box on
the ground next to a fire beside the tree. Loot this Box to obtain:

- ZOLTAN CHIVAY (if not acquired earlier).


- Unfinished book.

Read all books currently unread, then head northwest to the Shady Merchant and talk with
him.

1 - These passes - what are they?


1 - (100) Fine, I'll pay.

XP x 10.
Transit Pass.

Make your way to the Notice Board and interact with it. Then take the Contract: Woodland
Beast. Then talk with the nearby Captain of the Guard to update this contract.

1 - Here about the notice.

Now continue northwest along the bridge for a brief scene.

1 - Got a pass.

Signpost - Border Post.

Head north now to the signpost below.


Signpost - Drahim Castle.

Now go to the Notice Board to the northeast and interact with it. Take the Contract: Devil in
the Woods. Read the notice after for the Contract: Lord of the Wood.

Signpost - Cunny of the Goose.

Now go into the nearby Inn, talk to the Innkeep and buy the following.

– Havekar Healer - 20.


– Scorch - 50.
– Impera Brigade Guard - 20.
– Young Emissary - 20.
– Franceska Findabair - 50.

Now head northwest into Novigrad to the first signpost listed below, then head northeast to
the 2nd.

Signpost - Gate of the Hierarch.


Signpost - Tretogor Gate.

Now make your way northwest to the mob by the square and talk with the Preacher.

1 - How many people's lives have you saved?

XP x 10.

Next, continue west to the square for a small cutscene.

Signpost - Hierarch Square.

Go to the Armorer in the alcove in the northwest corner of the square afterwards and open
his shop. Then sell all your Weapons and Armor that isn't equipped until you have the 2000 x
Crowns.

Now go to the Notice Board on the opposite side of the square and interact with it. Then take
the Contract: Haunted House, Contract: Imp, High Stakes Gwent Tournament and Fist Fights
notices. Then read them for the quests below.

– High Stakes.
– Contract: An Elusive Thief
– Contract: Doors Slamming Shut
– Fists of Fury: Novigrad

Now head to the signpost and warp to Tretogor Gate. Then head northeast to discover the
1st signpost below, then head southeast to discover the 2nd.

Signpost - Southern Gate.


Signpost - Seven Cats Inn.

Once at Seven Cats Inn, interact with the Notice Board for some new markers and to update
the MQ: EVIL'S SOFT FIRST TOUCHES ready for later.

Now head inside the Inn and talk with the Innkeeper, then buy the following.

– Havekar Smuggler - ??
– Mahakaman Defender - ??
– Decoy - 20.
– Impera Brigade Guard - 20.
– Young Emissary - 50.

Next, go to the Notice Board just across the water to the northeast. Examine it, take the
Contract: Monster in the Sewers, then cancel to get the DLC MQ Evil's Soft First Touches.
Also read the notice you just collected.

Signpost - Seven Cats Inn.

Once at the Notice Board, take the Contract: Devil in the Woods and the Contract: The
White Lady.

Now warp back to the Hanged Man's Tree. Then from here, head east into Oxenfurt, getting
the signposts below along your way.

Signpost - Devil's Pit.


Signpost - Stonecutters Settlement.
Signpost - Western Gate.

Now go north and get the OXENFURT HARBOR signpost, then head into the nearby Inn
and buy the following.

– Dwarven Skirmisher - 10.


– Mahakaman Defender - 20.
– Vrihedd Brigade Veteran - 20.
– Commander's Horn - 10.

Next, go to the nearby Notice Board and take the Contract: Monster in Oxenfurt, Contract:
Beast in the Oxenfurt Forest and Gwent: Play a Round with Stjepan. Then read the notes to
trigger the following quests.

– Contract: The Oxenfurt Drunk.


– Contract: The Creature from Oxenfurt Forest.
– Gwent: Playing Innkeeps.

(Optional) If you need more Crowns, the Armourer nearby has a lot in stock, you will need
quite a lot for some Manuscripts we will soon be buying.
Once done, now head north and get the Temerian Partisan Hideout signpost.

Now warp back to the Hanged Man's Tree ready to move on with some main quests.

Notice Board - Mulbrydale.


Signpost - Mulbrydale.

Head to the QM and eventually come to the INN AT THE CROSSROADS SP.

Interact with the Notice Board for some new markers. Then take the MISSING MIKEL note
and then read it

Contract - Missing Brother.

Signpost - Wolven Glade.

Now head to the next QM carrying on with the MQ

At the QM, SP HEATHERTON, kill the Dogs then talk with the survivor.

> Tell me what happened

Search the body at the QM

>Should search his trousers.


>Might be something in his jerkin.

Examine the rug in the next room and open the trapdoor. Climb down into the cellar and
interact with the candle. Loot the secret chest that appears and select all the options on the
ledger you find.

MQ: BLOODY BARON

Warp to the Wolven Glade.

Enter Crow's Perch via the rear cave. Inside, loot the crate and sack for the following.
– Hardened Leather, Goat Hide, Linen.

At the QM, talk to the Baron

>It's just that - blabber.


>Glad to have a drink.
>It's awful.
>Can you get to the point.

MQ: THE KING OF THE WOLVES (CIRI)

Now you will take control of Ciri in a memory, follow the riverbed and kill the Wolves, then
carry on moving forward for a cutscene.

>Yes, I'm lost, too.


>How is it you're here?
>Remember how to get home?
>Don't be afraid, I'll protect you.

Follow Gretka and protect her from the Wolves. Then follow Gretka to find a corpse.

Once you have killed the next pack of wolves, follow Gretka into the cave and kill the
Werewolf.

Now track the SQ: CIRI'S ROOM and complete this first. Grab The Natural Obscurity of
Curses book from Ciri's table and read it. Also examine the clothes on the floor and finally
examine the Spinning Top.

Now go and meet Gretka at the QM. You may find 2 sacks in the back of Gretka's room,
each with Silver Ingot x 1 inside.

>Found this toy in Ciri's room.

MQ: FAMILY MATTERS


Back to the MQ: FAMILY MATTERS, go follow the Baron and enter the far room upstairs. 1st
examine the square patch on the wall to the right, then examine the painting nearby. Now
examine the cabinet behind the painting and finally examine the mess near the room
entrance.

Also loot the chest beside the bed and the chest beside the painting.

– Chest - Gold Ring, Pearl, Silver Candelabrum, Water.


– Chest - Gold Ring, Pearl, Silver Candelabrum, Water.

Also loot the 2 sacks near the room entrance.

– Hardened Leather x 2.

Now go into the opposite room and from the doorway, loot the 2 knee height cabinets on the
left side of the room.

– Chest - Gold Ring, Pearl, Inkwell, Silver Candelabrum.


– Chest - Gold Ring, Pearlt, Silver Pantaloons, Smoking Pipe.

Now go back to the stairs and examine the plank in the middle to find the Talisman. Then go
back and speak with the Baron.

Now go down the steps to the bottom, enter the room on the right and loot the multiple
barrels in the far left corner for Dwarven Spirit x 6. These should keep you going for a while
as a means for restocking consumables.

Now go and talk with the Baron in his study and beat him at Gwent to win the card below
and trigger the SQ: GWENT: VELEN PLAYERS.

Now head outside and talk with the Quartermaster to the east and buy the following.

– Decoy - 20.
– Nausicaa Cavalry Rider - 20.
– Cynthia - 10.

Now go to the Notice Board down the hill and interact with it to update some new markers.
Also take the following notes.
– Fist Fights.
– Horse Races.
– Contract: The Beast of Honorton.
– Contract: Shrieker.

After taking the notes above and reading the notes that enter your inventory, you will trigger
the side quests below.

– Fists of Fury: Velen.


– Races: Crow's Perch.

Carry on down the hill and enter the 1st house on the left just before the gate. Then loot the
3 sacks immediately on your left once in the doorway.

– Sack - Amethyst Dust, Emerald.


– Sack - Triglav Runestone, Pure Silver.
– Sack - Leather Straps.

Now go through the gate, enter the 1st house on the left and loot the crates on top of the
shelf to the left for Dwarven Spirit x 2, Alcohest x 2 and Diary of a Fire Swallower. You can
read the book straight after.

There will also be a house on the right of the main path before the Merchant. There are 2
crates beside the exterior of its west wall that combined, will provide Pure Silver x 2 & Amber
Dust x 2.

Carry on west to find the next Merchant and buy the following.

– Zerrikanian Fire Scorpion - 50.


– Impera Brigade Guard - 20.
– Nausicaa Cavalry Card - 20.
– Albrich - 10.

Signpost - Crow's Perch.

SQ RACES: CROW'S PERCH

Now head to this QM, but save just before you reach it, then talk with Radko.

>Sign me up.
>Stuttering Matko.
– Set 50 as the bet.

Rewards:
– XP x 25.
– Crowns x 100 (Bet).
– Crowns x 20.
– Racing Saddle.
The Horse Races are pretty simple. Follow the line on the minimap, avoiding any obstacles
along the way. Make sure you hold cross when you start, and watch out for the rolling barrels
(move around them) that may appear in the first quarter, and the stationary log (jump over or
move around) blocking the path in the third quarter. Save after each race you win and if you
fail, just reload your save and try again. You will discover SP BLACKBOUGH during the
race.

Once you beat Stuttering Matko, speak with Radko again at QM.

Once you've beaten Iron-Arse Hans, talk to Radko once more.

Once all 3 races are won, equip the horse with the new horse gear you have acquired:

Defeat Jonah.

Go to the fist fight in the south part Blackbough and talk to the Bookie. Choose the options
below and then defeat Jonah.

MQ: FAMILY MATTERS


Go to the Peller at the QM.

4 - What do you want from the pellar?.


1 - Tell you what - you leave, and I'll heal Edric.

Now go knock at the door.

1 - I'm looking for Anna. And her daughter.
1 - If I find your goat, will you help?

– Pellar's Bell received.

MQ: A PRINCESS IN DISTRESS

Now go to the far west of the nearby search area to find the Princess. While luring Princess,
go back to the east slightly to find a cave in a small clearing of the woods. Kill the bear just
inside, then loot it and enter, you can leave Princess outside as a look-out.

Loot the chest at the end of the cave and the cart wreckage near it for some valuable loot.

Now exit the cave and take Princess back to the Pellar.

1 - Will you help me now?


1 - You spoke of a child. Whose?
1 - Baron have anything to do with this?
1 - The child - what happened to it?
1 - I need to know where the botchling is.

While in the Pellar's hut, loot the chest beside the door and the sacks in the southwest
corner. Then go back to Blackbough and warp to the Inn at the Crossroads.

SQ: FISTS OF FURY: VELEN


Defeat Smithy

Go to the QM nearby and talk to the Bookie. Choose the options below and then defeat
Smithy.

1 - I'm ready to fight.


– Set Bet Amount - 70.

XP x 25.
Crowns x 140.
Now go to the Innkeep and buy the following.
– Commander's Horn - 10.
– Siege Engineer - 20.
– Impera Brigade Guard - 20.
– Nausicaa Cavalry Rider - 20.
– Emhyr Var Emreis - 50.

MQ: HUNTING A WITCH

Warp to Blackbough, then go Midcopse to the southwest.

Signpost - Midcopse.

Interact with the Notice Board in Midcopse for some new markers. Also take the note below,
then read it to trigger the contract.

– Contract: Jenny o' the Woods.

Now talk with the Merchant nearby and buy the following.
– Poor Fucking Infantry - 20.
– Crinfrid Reavers Dragon Hunter - 50.
– Morteisen - 10.

Now go to the witch's hut to the northeast to update the objective.

Go inside the hut after the scene, examine the skull on the shelf in the bedroom and then
enter the portal. Now go up the stairs and speak to the witch.

1 - Looking for a certain young woman.

1 - Who did the asking?
2 - My gratitude good enough?
1 - What was his name?
1 - He leave any message for her?

MQ: WANDERING IN THE DARK

Signpost - Byways.

Now follow Keira into the cave and loot the chest beside the first doorway for some valuable
items.

Carry on forward, then keep right to find 2 x Monster Nests. Kill any rats and then quickly
destroy each nest with a Grapeshot Bomb.
XP x 100.
XP x 100.
Level 4 - AP x 1.

1 - Let's hurry.

examine the kelpie etching on the far wall.

Carry on following Keira and examine the Swallow beside the closed doorway to reveal a
portal, then head through and defeat the Golem.

Stay in Keira's magic shield, then as she shoots magic at a portal, run over to it and cast
Yrden to close it before any enemies spawn, then retreat back to the magic shield. Do this
for each of the 3 portals.

Now continue to the QM and defeat Nithral. Then loot him afterwards for some valuable loot.

upper floor. Loot the COW card from the floor and also the nearby containers for some
Alcohol.

Now head east around the nearby lake to reach the Old Chapel. Grab the Crypt Key and the
Pastoral Diary of Father Glaedried from the corpse outside the entrance. Now run around
the outside of the chapel and drop in near the crypt entrance to the east to prevent triggering
the Wraiths.

Then head inside the crypt and loot the interior, but stay away from the middle otherwise you
will trigger an enemy. First go left and grab the loot, then backtrack to the entrance and then
loot the right side. Below is some of the loot you will find.

– Left side sack - Ruby Dust x 2, Silver Ingot x 2, New Moon Boots x 2.

Carry on through the cave, entering the portals, killing the Nekkers, using aard on a power
cell to trigger another portal and eventually you will reach another Witch Hunter. Defeat him
in a fist fight.

Go through the doorway and use the Power Cell on the wall at the end, then aard it to trigger
another portal. Head through to encounter more Nekkers, defeat them and then drop down
the nearby hole to find more Nekkers. Defeat these and then loot the Power Cell x 1 from the
floor, then climb back up.

Trigger the next portal again just like before, then go through and descend the steps.

Loot the chest behind the portal you just came through, then carry on northeast to trigger the
Ifrit boss and defeat it.

Loot the boss afterwards, then carry on into the room behind where it initially came from to
the northeast.
Once in Phillippa's room, grab the Polished Crystal x 1 on the floor to the right, then exit the
cave the way you entered. The Witch Hunters will confront you once you reach the entrance.

Go to the signpost and warp to Oxenfurt Harbor. Now head north to Radovid at the QM

Now go to the signpost and warp to Hanged Man's Tree, then go to the ship at the nearby

Now follow the Baron, you will need to stay close to him, kill any enemies that spawn and
use Axii on the botchling he's carrying to relax it occasionally. Eventually you will trigger a
cutscene near the Baron's residence.

Now go interact with the burial spot to sit and wait, then follow the Lubberkin.

Once you reach the house, loot the 2 sacks on the left, then examine the bracelet, clothing
and horseshoes to update the objective.

Follow the Lubberkin once again until it reaches the carcass, then detour slightly to find the
signpost below.

Now enter the nearby cave and throw any bomb up to the upper ledge inside to scare out
the enemy.

Exit the cave, then follow the Shrieker and kill it, then loot it and resume the MQ below.

Now head back to the Lubberkin and defeat the Rotfiend enemies it leads you to. The loot
them and examine the carcass.

Now warp back to Downwarren, then continue southeast to the Ruined Tower signpost.

Go to the QM in the hut and talk with Travik.

Before you leave the hut, loot the chest near the entrance for the following, and also loot the
chest in the backroom.

– Chest 2 - Pig Hide, Hardened Leather.

Head to the new QM, kill the enemies and loot the Water Hag, then examine the footprints
nearby.
Now head to the small hole and interact with it to call Johnny.

Once you find Johnny:

Now follow Johnny, kill the first bunch of enemies, then you can head northwest to the base
of the hill to trigger a small scene.

Now climb the hill and loot the harpie's nest for the Raven's Feather and Sealed Bottle which
will update the quest. If you can do this stealthily and quick, you can avoid fighting the
harpie's. Report back to Johnny once you have the items.

Now follow Johnny to the south slightly to trigger some enemies that need defeating. Loot
the Water Hag afterwards. Now head to the Igni Place of Power to the southeast and draw
from it for AP x 1.

Then defeat the nearby Werewolf and loot it for a Werewolf Mutagen x 1 which you can
equip. Now head inside the nearby cave and make your way to the end for a small scene.

2 - I don't believe you.

Now defeat the boss. Just keep attacking the Tree's Heart, then kill the smaller enemies.
Loot the enemies afterwards and then the boss for a Diamond Dust.

Now take the northeast path to exit the cave, then once outside, turn around and head up
the hill to find the Ancient Oak signpost, then use it to warp back to The Orphans of
Crookback Bog. Then head into the village for a cutscene.

Continue east onto a bridge where you will encounter a brief cutscene with some bandits.

Make a manual save, then kill all the bandits and loot them until you find the Cell Key x 1. If
you don't find it, reload the recent save and try again. Once you have it, free the prisoner
inside the camp, then meditate for 24 hours and until daytime, then warp to Claywich.

Once at Claywich, talk with the new Merchant. This is the prisoner you just rescued and he
will reward you with Dwarven Spirit x 6. Now open his shop and buy the following Cards

head into the back room with Triss and head downstairs for a cutscene once the secret wall
is moved.

Now go through the open gate to the northeast near Triss, then loot the 2 barrels, the crate
and the sack at the top of the stairs.

Follow the path now through the sewers and loot the chest on the left just after the first few
enemies.

Carry on around the corner to find a few more enemies and loot the 3 sacks here on the

After reaching the sewer library, blast the next wall, go through and then loot the immediate
chest on the left.

Carry on west and you will shortly see a platform on the right with 4 crates on it. Loot the 1st
crate here for Crystalized Essence & Silver Ore.

Continue along the sewer, kill the rats and then loot 2 barrels beside the right corner after
climbing some more steps. These 2 barrels contain good resources.

Turn right at the 2 barrels above and go down the steps to the south, then loot the containers
in the left corner before descending the next set of steps. The multiple containers in this
corner all contain good resources.

After descending the next steps, loot the first sack on your right for some good loot. Carry on
to the Katakan enemy, you will pass some good resource containers along the way. Then
once you reach this strong enemy, kill it for the following.

– Katakan - Lesser Red Mutagen, Monster Tongue, Monster Bone, Nigredo, Quebrith,
Vampire Saliva x 3, Vampire Fang x 3, Lesser Blue Mutagen x 2.

Loot the room if you wish for some good resources, then continue following the linear path
back outside, looting as you go.

Now go to the Armourer in Hierarch Square and sell as much as you can, first equipment

Next, warp to St. Gregory's Bridge, then go and speak with Marquise Serenity in the building
at the QM. She will open a secret passage for you leading up to Dijkstra.

Head up the secret passage now to find Dijkstra.

Now go downstairs and talk with the Scribe at the QM.

including the Diagram: Superior Ursine Armor set.

Now continue through the cave for a cutscene with Thaler.

Now loot the chest behind the trolls and the 2 chests further to the west, then follow Thaler
outside the cave. Now loot the chest on the scaffolding to the right, then escort Thaler to his

some aggressive beasts that you will have to defeat.

Now head into the workshop and take the Mead from the bedside table to the far west. Then
head over to the northern statue, examine it and place the Mead into its hand to reveal a
secret passage.

Head through the secret passage and defeat the Earth Elemental, then loot its corpse.

MQ: ECHOES OF THE PAST

Now head over to the large tree to the north, then jump over the castle wall to the east of it
and into the water below. Be sure you jump onto the wall and then jump off it otherwise you

Now get into the nearby boat and sail around to the northeast, just follow the right wall and it
will eventually lead you to the Ancient Crypt.

Once at the Crypt, warp to Redgill on the east side of the island. Then continue to the QM to
the west and talk with Yennefer.

Head over to Yennerfer at the next QM, defeat the Foglets and then talk with her.

Head east to the first echo, then use the mask to view it. Once the quest has updated,

for a cutscene.

Carry on upstairs until you reach the red carpet, then examine the ripped clothing on the wall

Now climb the ladder and loot the Mash on the floor of the top platform. Now drop down and
interact with the middle distiller and add the Mash.

After placing the Mash, light the distiller with igni or by examining the wood below it. Now go
to the 2 levers on the right, pull the 2nd lever first followed by the 1st lever last. Now loot the
Skellige Spirit from the nearby barrel.

Now go to the distillery signpost and warp to Crow's Perch back in Velen.

Go to the Sergeant at the QM in the Baron's study and talk with him.

Now head west into the search area and kill the Drowners and the Water Hag.

at the nearby QM and talk with him.

Now go back to the signpost and warp to the Ancient Crypt. Once you arrive, board a nearby
boat, take the helm and then warp to the Undvik Boatyards harbor to the southwest.

Now sail to the QM to the far west to advance the story.

After the storyboard cutscene, you then need to sail to the dock to the far southeast and exit
your boat. You can either follow the firefly or make your own way.

Once you reach the island, head southwest and defeat/loot the Fiend, then examine the
corpse of Ferenc nearby.

Now head northeast to the QM and knock on the door.

Now head to the coast to the north, kill/loot the Water Hags x 2, then head over to Ivo nearby
for a cutscene.

Head west next to the QM at the lighthouse, then climb it and speak with Gaspard at the top.
Be sure you loot the chests at the bottom and the top of the lighthouse BEFORE you talk
with Gaspard.

Now take Gaspard back to the house defeating any enemies along the way. You will need to
keep Gaspard close by and wake him up if he falls asleep. The easiest path is to head south
and then northeast to the house.

Now head into the castle for a cutscene.

First head south to the 3 portals and close them using the Dimeritium Bombs, no need to kill
any enemies, just close the portals. Your bombs will restock each time you close a portal.

Once you get control as Ciri, head south to Triss and kill all the enemies nearby to update
the quest.

Now back in control of Geralt, follow the path back up to Kaer Morhen, but dismount your
horse before you enter. Then after the cutscene once you pass through the gate, quickly turn
south and jump up the crates to the lever on the platform above and pull it. If you're not quick
enough and enter battle stance, just reload checkpoint.

After the cutscene, make your way to the middle courtyard.

Now head over to Triss in the northeast corner and kill the nearby enemies.

Once you gain control of Ciri again, kill any nearby enemies, then head over to the courtyard
front gate. Kill any enemies here and then interact with the circular gate controls to the right
of it.
Back as Geralt, you will need to close the 2 portals that spawn in the northeast corner and
the 2 that spawn in the southeast corner. There will be some containers around the area that
you can loot to gain more Dimeritium Bombs.

Once the portals are closed, head to the gate for a cutscene.

In the snow area, you will need to make your way to the lighthouse where the QM is. Being

Now go to the nearest signpost and warp to Novigrad Gate. Then head to the QM and talk
with Yennefer. Now head over to the well for a cutscene and then drop down it.

Inside the well, swik to the east to get back onto land, then head south to find a Water Hag.
Kill/loot it and then examine the broken lever on the southern wall to update the quest.

Now backtrack northwest and then follow the path around to the northeast to find 3
Drowners that you can kill and loot. Once the enemies are defeated, go to the north passage
and take the lever handle from the switch beside the doorway.

Go back to the broken lever and now you can fix it. Then head through the doorway and use
aard on the next wall to find yourself back in the sewers. Kill/loot the Ghouls, then head east
to the end and then head southeast and climb up the ledge you reach to find some Witch
Hunters.
Kill/loot the Witch Hunters here and then loot the nearby chest. Then carry on along the path
and into the cell area.

Kill the enemies in the cell area for a brief scene with Margarita, the captive there. Now
make your way outside, then up the steps ahead and into the Commander's office at the QM
and defeat him.

Kill any other enemies that rush you, then loot the Commander for the following.

– John Natalis (card).
– Isengrim Faoiltiarna (card).
– Witch Hunter's Sword.
– Cell Key.

Now head down back into the cell area and free Magarita.

Then exit the compound by going back outside, going up the steps and following the outer
wall and dropping through the broken part you find.

Now head west to the Western Gate signpost and then warp to Gate of the Hierarch. Then
head into the Rosemary & Thyme and go up to the top room for a cutscene.

Now head back to the signpost and warp to Novigrad Docks. Then west to the front of the
ship for a brief scene.

Now go and talk with Crach at the nearby QM to the east.

Go to the QM to the north and beat Sjusta at gwent.

Now go back to the signpost you recently passed and then warp to Holmstein's Port. Now
follow the eastern mountain path all the way up towards the QM at the northeast to
eventually reach Kaer Muire.

Now make your way through the camp and talk with Ermion at the QM. Then kill Madman
Lugos and his henchmen in the initial encounter.

MQ: GWENT SKELLIGE STYLE

Now loot the chest in the southeast corner, then head down to the QM and kill any enemies
near the search area. Then head up the steps in the search area, enter the room and then
loot the small container at the QM.

– Vampire: Katakan.
– Emhyr Var Emreis.

Now kill any remaining enemies and then follow Ermion down the hill for a cutscene. You can
just run ahead and the cutscene will eventually trigger.

Now head south to the nearest signpost and warp to Arinbjorn. First of all, head into the
nearby Inn for a brief scene.

Now go and talk with the Innkeep and buy the following.

– Crone - Whispess - 20.
– Fiend - 20.
– Arachas - 20.

Then head west to the QM and speak with the Bookie, then win the fight.

Now loot the nearby chest, then head east back to the signpost and warp to Harviken. Then

Now head to the fist fight at the QM and talk with the Fightmaster, then defeat Einar.

Go back to the signpost and warp to Urialla Harbor to the far northeast. Once you arrive,
head into the Inn to the east, them talk with the Innkeeper and buy the following.

Then head to the QM to the northeast and talk with the Bookie.

Use the nearest signpost and warp to Larvik. Once you arrive, go west to the race start and
talk with Svana.

Now head back to the signpost and warp to the Ancient Crypt. Then enter the nearby boat,

Now swim over to the northern anchor of the ship at the QM and interact with it for a
cutscene.

Now go and talk with Yennefer nearby.

Signpost - The Pali Gap Coast.

MQ: CHILD OF THE ELDER BLOOD.

Now go over to the signpost and warp to The Pali Gap Coast. Once you arrive, head through
the doorway ahead and speak with Yennefer, then defeat the Golem.

Then carry on through the Laboratory until you encounter a brief cutscene.

Now carry on through the next door for another cutscene.

Now make your way back outside for another cutscene.

MQ: THE SUNSTONE

Now go over to the nearby signpost and warp to the Ancient Crypt. Then head over to
Phillippa and loot the chest beside her.

Head into the ruins with Phillippa until you reach the open chamber with the monsters you
need to defeat. If you run to the statue ahead, you can then update the objective from here
by killing only the Siren (flying enemy).

Then once the quest updates, continue south and Phillippa will repair the bridge so that you
can cross. Then continue on and take the west path at the junction to eventually find a
Golem and then defeat it.

Take the south path from the Golem and follow it left to eventually trigger a cutscene beside
a locked door with a drawing on it.

Continue east after the cutscene to eventually reach a large cavern with mirrors. Go east to
the 1st mirror and pull the lever on the back once to rotate it to the right. Then loot the chest
nearby.

Now go south to the 2nd mirror, jump to it and pull the lever on the back to rotate it once.
Loot the chest beside it and then quickly jump back down to avoid the enemy nearby.

Now head over to the 3rd and final mirror to the southeast and pull the lever, then head over
to Phillippa at the Sunstone for a cutscene.

MQ: BATTLE PREPARATIONS

Now retrace your steps back to the entrance, there will be 2 chests on the floor near the
entrance to the mirror chamber that you can loot. You can also draw the power from the Igni
Place of Power for AP x 1 as you pass it on your way out.

Once back outside, use the signpost to warp to Kaer Trolde Harbor. Then head to Avallac'h
on the ship at the QM and speak with him.

MQ: ON THIN ICE


Once you get control as Ciri, just ignore the enemies and dodge past them to eventually
reach Caranthir. Then attack Caranthir and you will soon get control back as Geralt.

Now kill Caranthir while playing as Geralt, you can use the boss projectiles to kill the Ice
Elementals that he summons.

Environmentally Unfriendly - Kill 50 opponents using the environment (e.g. swamp gas,
insects or objects).

Afterwards, once you spawn in the water, swim up to the surface for another cutscene.

Now head forward to the Naglfar, no need to defeat any enemies. Then eventually you will
reach Eredin.

Defeat Eredin, first just focus on draining a small portion of this health and he will then
transport you to Undvik where the battle will continue.

Once on the mountain in Undvik, continue attacking him, but now also try to cause him to
attack himself by moving close to him when he is using magic.

After almost defeating him, he will retreat through another portal. Follow him through back to
the ship and then finish him off.

– Hav'Caaren.
– Lesser Glyph of Aard.

The King is Dead - Defeat Eredin.

MQ: TEDD DEIREADH, THE FINAL AGE

Now head southwest to eventually find some horses and mount one of them. Once on the
horse, head southwest to the river and then go west to cross the narrow valley, then follow
the northern path up the mountain.

Signpost - Abandoned Village.

Once you reach a ledge, you will need to dismount your horse and continue on foot.
Continue up the snowy mountain keeping an eye on your health because it will now begin to
drain slowly.

There will be some small alcoves along the way that you can take refuge in to recover health
or to meditate. One of the alcoves on the left will contain a chest that you can loot Shiadhl's
Armor from.
Continue north to discover the signpost below and to trigger another cutscene once you
reach the Elven Tower.

Signpost - Tor Gvalch'ca.

MQ - SOMETHING ENDS, SOMETHING BEGINS

Now go to the courtyard to the west to find the Nilfgaardian Nobleman, talk with him and
choose gwent, bet Crowns x 10 and then beat him at gwent.

Now follow the Chamberlain to the northeast room for a cutscene or just sprint there
yourself.

Now go north to the nearest signpost amd warp to the Nilfgaardian Garrison. Then head up
into the gaarison for a cutscene.

Go back to the signpost and warp to Woesong Bridge. Then head into the Inn for a cutscene
and to complete the game.

Passed the Trial - Finish the game on any difficulty.

Ran the Gauntlet - Finish the game on the "Blood and Broken Bones!" or "Death March!"
difficulty levels.

Walked the Path - Finish the game on the "Death March!" difficulty level.
