Step 1: Click on the URL shared with you
Step 2: Click on the “Apply Now” button and then click on the “Apply now” from the drop down list.
Step 3: Click on Create account
Step 4: Enter all the required details in the form and then click on “Read and accept the data privacy
statement” and click on “Accept” button and then click on “Create Account”
Step 5: Login to the tool with the email address and password that is created.
Step 6: Click on “Apply” Button
Step 7: You will see a few columns that are marked in red. Please fill all those columns and then click on
“Apply” Button.
Step 8: You will be routed a page where you will see a button which says “Take Assessment”. Click on it.
Step 9: Press enter on the below page.
Step 10: Press enter again on the below page.
Step 11: Check the box with says “ I have read and agree to the MAKI Terms and conditions and privacy
policy” and click enter.
Step 12: you will be routed to the below page.
Step 13: Click on Typing test. Ensure you are typing the text that is given on the screen. If you are doing
the test from Mobile phone please skip the typing test.
Step 14: Click on “English Spoken Proficiency”. You need to provide access to the camera and
microphone before clicking on the test. Then you will be required to answer the question that is given in
this test while recording your video. Please ensure that you are not copying the content from
anywhere as this assessment has a plagiarism checker and if the tool finds out that you have read the
content from anywhere or if the content that you have spoken is AI generated then the tool will reject
your profile post completion of the test. The video recording must be at least of 120 Seconds for the
tool to be able to assess your language.
Step: 15: Click on Job Specific Skills. In this section you will have 5 questions based on the job role that
you are applying for. For ex: Customer Service or Technical Support. Please answer all the questions and
then click on submit.
Step 16: Click on Computer Proficiency. You will have 16 questions and the time limit is 12 minutes.
Please ensure you are completing answering all the questions in the given time and click on submit.
Step 17: Click on Compass. In this section you will have 60 questions based on behavioural traits. You
will have to answer all the questions and then click on submit.
Step 18: Click on Perceptual speed. In this section you will have 15 questions and the time limit is 12
minutes. Please ensure you answer all the questions and then click on submit within the time limit.
Do’s and Don’t’s of the test.
1. Please ensure you are finishing the test in a single attempt and not completing one section and
taking a break and completing another section. The test duration overall is 30 to 45 Minutes if
done at a stretch.
2. After starting any of the sections in the test you will enter a full screen mode. Please ensure you
are not switching the screen during the test or clicking on esc or click on exit full screen at any
moment because if you do so the section will be marked as complete and you will not be able to
do that section again. Please ensure you are completely ready and then only start the test.
3. At any moment while doing the test please don’t switch screens as the tool has the ability to
count the number of times the candidate has switched screen and also the duration for which
the candidate was away from the test, If this is found then the profile will be rejected by the
tool.
4. Please ensure that you are not copying the content from any website or AI as the tool will be
able to check if the content was copied from somewhere and if found that the content was
copied then the tool will reject the profile post completion of the test. And you will be
disqualified.
5. Please write the email/ record the video with your own words which will help you clear the test.
6. Post completion of the test, please share the email address used to complete the test with the
recruiter so that they can check the results and share an update with you.
