THEME OF THE PROJECT- WATER

GUIDELINES FOR THE PROJECT:-

1. Complete and submit the project in time.

2. Write the project in A4 paper.

3. You can use different colour pens except Red pen.

4. Write one side of the A4 paper only.

5. Think original, do experiments and data collection yourself withguidance


of your family members, friends and teachers.

6. Attach photos of your activities also.

7. MAX MARKS ALLOTED - 20 PER SUBJECT


THEME OF THE PROJECT

WATER
ENGLISH
I. DIALOGUE WRITING:
Imagine and create a dialogue between two water droplets about their
journey through the Water cycle.

II. VOCABULARY BUILDING: (10 words)


Create a ‘Water words’ activity where students list words related to water.
ex: ocean, river, evaporation etc.

III. COLLAGE MAKING:


Make a collage on ‘Different uses of Water’ / ‘Sources of water’ using
pictures from magazines or drawings.

IV. WATER CONSERVATION TIPS:


Write a set of 5 tips on how to save water at home / in school.

HINDI
1) जल बचाओ” पर चचत्र बनाकर नारा चलखो ।
2) भारत के मानचचत्र में कोई पााँच प्रमुख नदियों को िर्ााओ और उनका वर्ान करो।
3) जल संरक्षर् का हमारे जीवन में क्या महत्व है ।

MATHS
1) Make drawings of different measuring containers (1 litre, 2 litres, 5 litres, 10 litres )
2) Make a list of distribution of water bodies in percentage
3) A family of 5 people in a town are consuming the water in a day as list given below:

your slogan be, and how would you spread the message to your community?

Q2) If you had to create a story about a fish living in a polluted river, what would the fish do to survive, and
how would it try to clean the river?

Q3) Evaporation Observation

● Objective: Explore how heat affects the evaporation of water.


● Question: Fill two cups with water. Place one cup in the sun and the other in a cooler place (like a
shaded area). Check them after a few hours. Which cup has less water? What can you conclude about
the role of heat in evaporation?
