GAME GUIDE CONTENTS: ‘The First Time You Play Crafts and Setup Ouiek Start The Games Solo Classic Balteship 2-Player Classic Battleship 2-Player Advanced Baltleship ‘Automatic Fleet Layouts 1. INSERT THE BATTERIES To insert the batteries, make sure the red ON/OFF switch is OFF. Then loosen the screw on the battery box, located ‘on the underside ofthe center madule, and remove the door. Insert three AA-size alkaline batteries, making sure toalgn the + and ~ symbols withthe markings in the Plastic. Then replace the door and tighten the screw. Philips/cross head screwdriver (nat included) needed to insert batteries. x3 SUA ‘ALKALINE BATTERIES BATTERIES REQUIRED §=NOT INCLUDED ‘oT INcLUDED) A IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION CAUTION: 1. TO AVOID BATTERY LEAKAGE 4. Always follow the instructions carefully. Use only batteries specified and be sure to insert them corectly by matching the + and — polarity markings. b. Do not mi old batteries and new batteries or standard (carbon zinc) with alkaline batteries. c. Remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product. d. Remove batteries if product isnot tobe played with for along time ¢, Do not short-circuit the supply terminals 1. RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES: Do not mix these with any other types of batteries. Use an emery board or sandpaper to remove excess plastic from the ships. Remove all pegs trom the bags. Toenter a coordinate, press the letter button fist, and then the number button. First player to destroy all enemy ships wins. ‘GAME MODES 41. Classic Bame: 1 or2 players Basic game that lets you develop your bate skills. Play solo against the game, or against another player. Qn your tum, fire one shat to score ait or miss. To win, destroy the enemy fet. 2, Advanced Game: 2 players Mave complex game that allows you to make three attacks on each turn and access special weapons. “To win, destroy the enemy fleet first. BATTLE CRAFTS EXAMPLE OF A POSSIBLE FLEET DEPLOYMENT FIRE COORDINATES CLASSIC BATTLESHIP SOLO CLASSIC GAME Play against the computer. STARTING THE GAME 1, Sit onthe green side ofthe game unit 2, Turn the game on. The game wil say Press 1, then press FIRE to confirm. You'l be playing against the computer 3. Choose Custom or Automatic sip layout. Press 1 to choose Custom Ship Layout. Press 2 to choose Automatic Ship Layout. Then place your ships on your battle grid ‘SHIP LAYOUT OPTIONS 1, Custom: Press 1 and FIRE to choose, Piace each of your ships on your battle grid and input ther coordinates so the ame knows where they are. 2, Automatic: Press 2 and FIRE to choose, Place each of your ships in one of 30 preset layouts (see pages 10 and 11). Enter the code for tha avout, and the game automaticaly inputs its coordinates. Custom Ship Layout Ityou selected Custom Ship Layout, the game wil say Place Yyur five ships on your battle grid, starting with your Battleship, ‘and then input their coordinates: + Place each ship by fiting its pegs into the noes. Do not piace your ships diagonally. + Don't place your ships so their target holes are off te battle ‘rid or overiap other ships. + Input only the frst and last coordinates of each ship so the game wil know where it's. Then press FIRE to confirm. For example, if you place your Battleship as shown below, the coordinates ae BS, 86, 87, 88, and B9. To enter is location, ust enter BS and B9. The game will automatically know the coordinates in between.
