Jandor Letter

-To the dwarf that has lost his way

If you are reading this, then I am gone. I’ve either
lost to the internal battle that has been consuming
me or have been defeated by those damned hags. It
doesn’t matter which one. I hope that if this letter
reaches you things are well with the day being won
and that your mind is your own.
When we first met I thought you were a rash,
tactless and abrasive person, but beneath all that
lies an honest heart. Despite the unusual and
unique nature of your personality you were
grotesquely optimistic which I really admired, even
now your company is missed.

I’m writing this as we spend our first night in Yon

after our meeting at the wayward poll, Valeria still
deeply cares for you and misses you, and while it
may not seem like it, I feel the same way.
I know that some part of you deep down is fighting
the control of the manager because the Jandor I
know would rather die than work under someone
else. In the best case I’ll get to say this to you, the
real you, face to face, but if all else fails then I will at
least say things here.
My final words are this, YOU MUST KEEP FIGHTING. If
you die on us, I’m going down to Avernus to drag
you out kicking and screaming.
Your Dear Friend,
Kairos
