DRY VAN

1. Standard Length : 53 Feet


2. Standard Width : 96"-102"
3. Standard heights: 12.5'-13.5'
4. Max Weight : 45,000 LBS.
5. Commodities : Dry Goods, Plastics, Dry Groceries, Tiles, Textiles,
Plywood, FibreGlass, Canned food.
6. Features and Options

• Roll up doors, rear swing doors. One or two side doors, roller beds.

• When used for produce “Produce Vents” are added and insulated
with roofs of Wood, Tin, or Fiberglass.
REEFER

1. Length : 53 Feet.
2. Max Weight : 43,000 to 44,000 LBS
3. Standard heights: 12.5'-13.5' overall.
4. Standard widths: 96"-102".
5. Commodities : Frozen Goods, Perishable Groceries, Dairy products,
Meat, ETC
6. Features and Options

• Rear swing doors or roll up doors.

• One or two side doors.

• Moveable bulkheads, lift gates, and temperature recording and


monitoring systems.

• Single or multi-temperature models.


FLATBED / STEP DECK :

1. Standard Length : 48’ , 53’ . ; Extended Lengths: 60’, 65’ and 70’
2. Standard width : 8’ 6”
3. Standard Height : 9’
4. Max Weight : 48,000 LBS
5. Commodities : Lumber, Building Products like Gypsum, Stones,
Mulch, Steel, Machines, Pipes, Hay Bales, Rebars.
6. Variations : Weight allotted for hauling determined by Axle’s
included on trailer and configurations.
REMOVABLE GOOSENECK / LOWBOY :

Commodities : Heavy Machinery, Heavy Building Materials.

CONESTOGA :
HOPPER BOTTOM / DRY BULK TRAILER :

1. Standard lengths: 26' to 42'.


2. Standard widths: 96"-102".
3. Hopper configurations: single, double and triple.
4. Open and closed end configurations.
5. Steel and Aluminum models.
6. There are available singles, doubles, and three-trailer truck
"trains".
● Dry bulk trailers use rolled tarpaulin tops rather than rigid
tops.
● Typical dry bulk trailers usually use hoppers to unload, or
empty conveyor systems.
● The international trailer manufacturers produce a variety of
models that are designed for different freight configurations.
Weight Distribution.

● Legal weight of any loaded truck should not exceed 80,000 LBS.
● Power unit Axle weight - 12,000 LBS.
● Distribution of weight per Axle - 17,000 LBS.
Safety and Documentation.
● Insurance : Cargo, Auto Liability, Reefer Breakdown.
● W9 : Tax Identification Number.
● Authority : Motor Carrier Number Authority Licence.
● Carrier Set up : Carrier broker agreement.
● Safer Web Verification : Verification of carrier’s phone number
registered with US department of transportation.

Fines & Charges.


● Truck Ordered No Use (TONU) : Fine customers are liable to pay if
the truck is booked but not used after the driver checks in at
location.
● Detention : Charges customers have to pay to the carrier for waiting
at the pick-up or delivery.
● Layover : Charges customer has to pay to carrier for waiting to
● other days than decided at pick up or delivery.

Load Information.
● Full Truck load - TL / FTL - When a customer books the whole truck
and pays for it accordingly.
● Partial Truck Load / Less Than Truckload - LTL - When a customer
has Less amount of product and would book a limited space of a
truck and pay accordingly for it. It is determined according to
weight and number to pallets.

Accessories.
● Pallets - Pallets are used for arranging the product in the truck.
Commodity is arranged in between pallets and is shield packed in
order to avoid damage. It saves loading and unloading time. It hauls
up to approx. 2,000 LBS of weight. It can be stackable and cover 3 to
4 feet of space in a truck. Standard size : 40” X 48”
● Dunnage : Cushion type bags used to secure pallets in the truck. It
avoids pallets from getting damaged in transit. It is used to fill up
the empty space in between and prevents pallets and cartons from
shifting in transit.
● Load Locks : Load locks are bars like products which are used to
secure cargo from shifting in Transit.
