I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who


contributed to the successful completion of this investigatory project on
“To find the refractive indices of (a) water (b) oil (transparent)
using a plane mirror, an equiconvex lens (made from a glass of
known refractive index) and an adjustable object needle”.

First and foremost, I am sincerely thankful to Sh Vishwas Kumar,


the Principal of PM Shri School Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya,
Pailapool, Cachar, for providing us with the necessary resources and a
conducive learning environment.
