Question 1: Why do people prefer traveling abroad instead of exploring their own

country?

"Traveling abroad offers individuals the opportunity to experience cultures, traditions, and
lifestyles that are vastly different from their own. While domestic travel is convenient and
familiar, international trips provide a sense of novelty and adventure that many people find
appealing. Additionally, visiting foreign countries often allows travelers to access unique
landmarks, cuisines, and activities that may not be available in their home country. For
instance, someone from Vietnam might visit Japan to experience cherry blossoms or explore
ancient temples, which are distinct from Vietnam's tropical landscapes and cultural
heritage."

Question 2: How can tourism impact the environment?

"Tourism can have both positive and negative effects on the environment. On the positive
side, it can raise awareness about conservation efforts and generate funds for protecting
natural habitats. However, the negative impacts often outweigh the benefits, especially in
cases of mass tourism. Overcrowding, pollution, and excessive resource consumption can
lead to environmental degradation. For example, popular tourist destinations like beaches or
national parks may suffer from littering and damage to ecosystems. To mitigate these issues,
sustainable tourism practices, such as eco-friendly accommodations and responsible waste
management, should be promoted."

Question 3: Do you think traveling is essential for personal growth? Why or why not?

"Absolutely, traveling plays a crucial role in personal growth. It exposes individuals to new
perspectives, challenges their comfort zones, and enhances their adaptability. For instance,
navigating a foreign city or communicating in a different language fosters problem-solving
skills and resilience. Moreover, traveling encourages cultural exchange, allowing people to
develop empathy and a broader understanding of the world. These experiences contribute to
shaping a more open-minded and confident individual. While traveling may not be essential
for everyone, it undeniably offers unique opportunities for self-discovery and learning."

Question 1: Do you enjoy watching or reading advertisements on TV or in newspapers?

Why (not)?

"Personally, I find advertisements to be a double-edged sword. On one hand, they can be

informative and entertaining, especially when they are creatively designed or feature
engaging storytelling. Some commercials even leave a lasting impression due to their humor
or emotional appeal. However, advertisements can also be intrusive, particularly when they
interrupt a program or clutter a newspaper with excessive promotions. While I appreciate
well-crafted ads, I prefer content that is concise and relevant rather than overly persuasive."

Question 2: Do you buy products because of advertising?

"To some extent, yes. Advertisements play a significant role in shaping consumer behavior by
introducing new products and highlighting their benefits. For instance, when I see an ad for a
new gadget or skincare product, I might be intrigued enough to research it further. However,
I don’t rely solely on advertisements when making purchasing decisions. I prefer to read
reviews, compare options, and consider recommendations from friends before committing to
a purchase. While ads can be persuasive, I believe informed decision-making is crucial."

Question 3: What makes you interested in an advertisement?

"An advertisement captures my attention when it is visually appealing, emotionally

engaging, or intellectually stimulating. For example, ads that use storytelling, humor, or
relatable scenarios tend to be more memorable. Additionally, advertisements that provide
clear and honest information about a product’s features and benefits are more effective
than those that rely on exaggerated claims. Music, colors, and celebrity endorsements can
also enhance an ad’s appeal, but ultimately, authenticity and creativity are what make an
advertisement truly stand out."

Part 2

First and foremost, purchasing discounted items allows consumers to acquire necessary
goods at a lower price without compromising quality. Many stores offer seasonal discounts,
clearance sales, or promotional deals, enabling shoppers to buy high-quality products at a
fraction of the original cost.

Moreover, this method is practical and accessible. Unlike window-shopping, which only
involves browsing without making purchases, buying discounted products ensures that
consumers actually save money rather than just avoiding unnecessary spending.
Additionally, while online shopping can sometimes offer lower prices, it comes with risks
such as hidden fees, unreliable sellers, and delayed deliveries.

Furthermore, shopping for discounted items encourages smart financial habits. Consumers
learn to compare prices, wait for sales, and prioritize essential purchases over impulsive
spending. This approach fosters financial discipline, which is beneficial in the long run.

Part 3

First and foremost, advertising provides valuable information to consumers. It introduces

new products, highlights features, and educates people about available options. Without
advertising, individuals would struggle to make informed purchasing decisions, as they
would lack awareness of product quality, pricing, and benefits.

Moreover, advertisements help people make better choices by comparing different brands
and services. For instance, a well-crafted advertisement showcasing eco-friendly products
encourages consumers to opt for sustainable alternatives, thereby promoting responsible
consumption.
Additionally, advertising stimulates competition among businesses, leading to innovation
and improved product quality. Companies strive to differentiate themselves through creative
marketing strategies, ensuring that consumers receive better services and more diverse
options. Without advertising, businesses would struggle to reach their target audience,
limiting market growth.

Beyond these practical benefits, advertising also serves as a powerful tool for social
awareness. Public service announcements address critical issues such as health, safety, and
environmental conservation, educating people and inspiring positive change.

Question 1: Do you think advertisements should be banned on TV?

"While some argue that advertisements should be banned due to their intrusive nature, I
believe they serve an essential purpose. Advertisements provide businesses with a platform
to reach potential customers and inform them about new products and services. Additionally,
they help fund television programs, ensuring that viewers have access to quality content
without paying high subscription fees. However, regulations should be in place to prevent
misleading or excessive advertising, ensuring that viewers are not overwhelmed by
commercial interruptions."

Question 2: Do you think advertising is an art?

"Absolutely! Advertising is a creative field that combines visual design, storytelling, and
psychology to capture attention and persuade audiences. Just like traditional art forms,
advertisements evoke emotions, convey messages, and reflect cultural trends. Iconic
commercials often feature cinematic techniques, compelling narratives, and artistic visuals,
making them memorable and impactful. While advertising primarily serves commercial
purposes, its ability to inspire and engage audiences proves that it can indeed be considered
an art form."

Question 3: What advertisements are popular at the moment in your country?

"Currently, advertisements in Vietnam focus heavily on digital marketing and influencer

endorsements. Brands leverage social media platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
to promote products through engaging short videos and interactive campaigns. Additionally,
eco-friendly and sustainable products are gaining popularity, with advertisements
emphasizing environmental responsibility. Another trend is the use of emotional storytelling,
where brands create heartwarming narratives that resonate with audiences, making their
advertisements more relatable and impactful."
