water in a jug — drops pebbles — water level comes up — drinks.

Ans. Where there is a will, there is a way

It was the month of June. Monsoon had not arrived. It was scorching heat. The parched earth
was waiting for the rains. The furious sun had burnt and dried everything. Birds and animals
were hunting for water. Water was not available in any pond or brook. A crow felt thirsty. It
flew from place to place in search of water. But he did not get water to quench its thirst. It was
not able to live without water anymore. Eventually, it saw a jug in a corner of a garden. It flew
to the jug. Alas! There was very little water in the jug. Its beak could not reach it. The crow
looked hither and thither. It saw a heap of small pebbles lying nearby. Its mind clicked. He
found a solution. It picked up the pebbles lying nearby one by one and put these into the jug.
Water rose up. The crow drank water to its fill and flew away happily. Never feel disheartened.
Remember, 'Where there is a will, there is a way'.
