6 Bolts, rivets, screws, nails ( no rust, secure, missing, loose )

7 "A" frame ladders spreaders (wear at pivot points, broken, missing, bended, not secured)

8 Wooden ladders (not painted)

9 Ladder stable under load (no swinging)

10 Maximum load displayed (sticker not damaged, faded, missing)

11 Multi-purpose ladders (locking devices working, not worn and warning stickers displayed and readable)

Rungs

1 Extended into the stiles ( except when welded, bolted, or riveted)

2 Fixture to stiles secure ( welding, rivets, screws, no nails )

3 Anti-slip strips on rungs not worn / damaged

4 Loose, missing or bent

5 Bolts, rivets, screws, nails ( no rust, secure, missing )

6 Welding not cracked

3 Stiles

1 General condition (cracks, welding, bended)

2 Wear / damage from vehicle roof rack on contact area

3 Extended ladder guides (wear, sharp edges, burrs )

4 Extended ladder guide brackets ( cracks, loose, bent, missing )

5 Extended ladder lock clamps ( cracks, loose, bent )

Note: Any deviation from the above, remove the ladder immediately from service.
