NRI Tuition fee is to be paid either in USD or as per current equivalent amount in Indian currency as
per conversion rate applicable on the date of payment.
The candidates are advised to go through the prospectus available on University / College website on
www.alkarimuniversity.edu.in / www.kmckatihar.org regarding fee structure, terms and conditions
and other details.
a) Tuition fee: Tuition Fee is payable annually and is charged for total 4 ½ years.
b) Development fee: Development Fee is payable annually and is charged for total 4 ½ years.
c) Hostel fee: Hostel Fee is payable annually and is charged for 5 ½ years or duration of stay whichever
is higher. Air-conditioned hostel is available for Boys and Girls separately. Students staying in the hostel
for more than the duration of the course either due to failure in examination or extension of Internship or
any other reason shall be required to pay additional hostel fee for their additional stay. The extended
duration shall be divided in a fraction of 6 or 12 months and accordingly hostel fee shall be payable as
per scheduled date every year.
d) Student Services and Amenities fee: Student Services and Amenities Fee is payable annually and is
charged for 5 ½ years or duration of stay whichever is higher. It includes Transport, Sports, Gymnasium,
Wi-Fi etc as per policy of the University/College.
e) Refundable security deposit: Refundable security deposit is payable one time at the time of
admission and will be refunded on completion of Internship training after deducting dues/damage if any.
2) Bank Guarantee/Bond: At the time of the admission while paying the fees for 1st year
through Bank Draft/RTGS/NEFT, the candidate shall also have to furnish Bank Guarantee /
Bond for payment of tuition and development fees for the remaining period of the course.
3) Fee Concession: Fee concession to eligible students is also available in accordance with clause 36(2)
of the Bihar Private Universities Act, 2013. Details can be seen in the prospectus available on University
/ College website on www.alkarimuniversity.edu.in / www.kmckatihar.org. The fee concession will be
granted subject to condition that in case the fee of the 50% of the total seats is fixed at par with the
fee of the Govt. Medical College of the State, then this concession will not be applicable.
