Crochet Set of Clothes for

Annie the Artist Teddy Bear

Materials:
- Yarn: YarnArt Jeans (55% Cotton, 45% PolyAcrylic, 1.76 oz = 174 yds/50 g = 160 m):
Pink, Blue and Dark blue [Color 74, 75 and 54]
- Yarn: YarnArt Lily (100% Cotton, 1.76 oz = 241 yrd/50 g = 225 m): light yellow, dark
pink, light grey, blue, dark blue [Colors – 0326, 0075, 4920, 0058, 0066]
- Hook size – I use Tulip 0 (2.10 mm) and 10 (1.10 mm)
- 3 Buttons approximately 10 mm
- Scissors
- Tapestry needles
- I recommend to use marker so you can better see where row starts and ends

Abbreviations:
Single crochet = sc Half double crochet = hdc

Stitch = st Increase = inc

Chain stitch = ch Invisible decrease = dec

Slip stitch = sl st Back loop only = BLO

Double crochet = dc Front loop only = FLO

Treble crochet = tr Round = rnd


Blouse
Start in dark pink yarn – YarnArt Lily color 0075.
Row 1: ch 110 + 2 lifting ch

Row 2: dc in the 3rd ch from the hook, dc in next 109 st [110]

Row 3: leave the pink thread so far, do not cut it, go back to the beginning of the row and
crochet a new row with dark blue (YarnArt Lily color 0066)

FLO sc in all 110 st [110]

Continue in dark pink.


Row 4: turn, 3 lifting ch, FLO (dc in next 15 st, inc) repeat 3 times, dc in next 14 st, (inc, dc in
next 15 st) repeat 3 times [116]

Row 5: turn, 2 lifting ch, (dc in next 16 st, inc) repeat 3 times, dc in next 14 st, (inc, dc in next
16 st) repeat 3 times [122]

Row 6: turn, 1 lifting ch, sc in next 20 st, ch 10, sc in the 23th st, sc in next 37 st, ch 10, sc in
the 23th st, sc in next 19 st [98]
Row 7: turn, 2 lifting ch, dc in next 9 st, inc, dc in next 10 st, 11 dc along the chain, (dc in next

Row 8: turn, 2 lifting ch, (dc in next 14 st, inc) repeat 6 times, dc in next 14 st [110]

Continue in dark pink.
Row 17: turn, 3 lifting ch, FLO dc in all 134 st [134]

Row 18: turn, 1 lifting ch, sc all along the short side of the blouse – crochet ch 7 three times
between sc for buttonholes

Row 19: turn, 1 lifting ch, sc all along – crochet 10 sc along the chains

Row 20: turn, 1 lifting ch, crab stitch all along the long (bottom) side of the blouse

Crab stitch is a reverse single crochet stitch but instead of working from right
to left, you work from left to right.

Row 21: turn, sc all along the other short side of the blouse

Fasten off.
Straps (make 2)

Start in dark blue – YarnArt Lily


Rnd 1: ch 25

Rnd 2: sc 24 along the chain

Change to dark pink yarn.


Rnd 3: sc along both sides

Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.

Attach the straps to the blouse.

Crochet the heart, follow the diagram. Start in light grey yarn – YarnArt Lily.
You must cut the thread after row 9 and start over again row 10. After row 12
crochet sc all along the heart, crab stitch for creating finished edge, fasten off.

Attach the heart to the blouse. Sew three buttons. The blouse is ready.
Jeans
Start in dark blue yarn - YarnArt Jeans color 54
Rnd 1: 55 ch

Rnd 2: sc in the last ch from the hook, sc in next 54 st [55]

Continue crocheting in rounds.

Rnd 3 – 5: sc in all 55 st [55]

Rnd 6: dec, sc in next 26 st, dec, sc in next 25 st [53]

Rnd 7: dec, sc in next 25 st, dec, sc in next 24 st [51]

Rnd 8: dec, sc in next 24 st, dec, sc in next 23 st [49]

Rnd 9 – 16: sc in all 49 st [49]

Fasten off only the first leg.

Crochet the second leg and join the first one to it.
Rnd 17: sc 49 along the first leg, sc 49 along the second [98]
Rnd 18 – 35: sc in all 98 st [98]

Rnd 36: sc in next 2 st, (dec, sc in next 22 st) repeat 4 times [94]

Rnd 37: sc in all 94 st [94]

Rnd 38: sc in next 2 st, (dec, sc in next 21 st) repeat 4 times [90]

Rnd 39: sc in all 90 st [90]

Rnd 40: sc in next 24 st (don’t work this round till the end)

Rnd 41: crab stitch all around

Fasten off.

Crab stitch is a reverse single crochet stitch but instead of working from right
to left, you work from left to right.
Make decorative stitches. Look at the photo.

Pockets

Follow the diagram and crochet two pockets.

Row 12: sc all along all sides of the pocket, fasten off
Make decorative slip stitch with pink - YarnArt Jeans color 74. Use blue color
– YarnArt Lily when sewing the pockets to the jeans.

Belt

Start in pink yarn – YarnArt Jeans color 74.


Row 1: 135 ch

Row 2: sc along the chain

Put fringes on both ends.

Belt loops

Crochet ch 4, fasten off. Repeat this 6 times.


Look at the photos: you’ll see the exact places for the loops. Put 2 on the
front and 4 on the back of the jeans. Put the belt.

Poncho
Follow the diagram and crochet two squares. Each round is worked in

different color (YarnArt Lily) and finished with slip stitch. Keep attention
these are long dc (long double crochet – spike stitch). Work first dc one round
below, the second dc two rounds below and the third dc one round below
again. There are many photos after the diagram, look at them.
Rnd 1: light grey Rnd 6: blue

Rnd 2: dark pink Rnd 7: light grey

Rnd 3: dark blue Row 8: light yellow

Rnd 4: light grey Row 9: blue

Rnd 5: light yellow


Follow the next diagram and crochet another two squares. Each round is
worked in different color (YarnArt Lily) and finished with slip stitch. Keep

attention these are long dc (long double crochet – spike stitch). Work first
dc one round below, the second dc two rounds below and the third dc one
round below again.
Rnd 1: light grey Rnd 7: light grey

Rnd 2: dark pink Row 8: light yellow

Rnd 3: dark blue Row 9: blue

Rnd 4: light grey Row 10: light yellow

Rnd 5: light yellow Row 11: blue

Rnd 6: blue
The following photos show how the squares are joined together. Use light
gray yarn. Start with ch 3 on the first type square, dc on the second type
square, ch, dc on the first type square, ch, dc on the second square… – continue
till the end. Pay attention and join only blue sides.
Then join the third and the forth square, look at the photos.

Now use dark pink color and crochet sc along the inner side of the poncho
and sc and crab stitch along the outside. Be careful, you have to leave two sides
without crocheting them. Look at the photos.
Make a lace in dark pink color.
Row 1: ch 200

Row 2: sc along the chain

Put fringes on both ends.

Put the lace. The poncho is ready.


Booties
Start in blue yarn – YarnArt Jeans color 75.
Rnd 1: 10 ch

Rnd 2: 3 sc in the second ch from the hook, sc in next 7 st, 3 sc in the last ch, turn and
continue working on the other side of the chain, sc in next 7 st [20]

Rnd 3: inc 3 times, sc in next 7 st, inc 3 times, sc in next 7 st [26]

Rnd 4: (sc, inc) repeat 3 times, sc in next 7 st, (sc, inc) repeat 3 times, sc in next 7 st [32]

Rnd 5: (inc, sc in next 2 st) repeat 3 times, sc in next 7 st, (inc, sc in next 2 st) repeat 3 times,
sc in next 7 st [38]

Rnd 6: (sc in next 3 st, inc) repeat 3 times, sc in next 7 st, (sc in next 3 st, inc) repeat 3 times,
sc in next 7 st [44]

Rnd 7: (inc, sc in next 4 st) repeat 3 times, sc in next 7 st, (inc, sc in next 4 st) repeat 3 times,
sc in next 7 st [50]

Rnd 8: (sc in next 5 st, inc) repeat 3 times, sc in next 7 st, (sc in next 5 st, inc) repeat 3 times,
sc in next 7 st [56]

Rnd 9: (inc, sc in next 6 st) repeat 3 times, sc in next 7 st, (inc, sc in next 6 st) repeat 3 times,

Rnd 10: BLO sc in all 62 st [62]

Change to pink yarn – YarnArt Jeans color 74.


Rnd 13: sc in all 62 st [62]

Rnd 14: (sc in next 3 st, dec) repeat 2 times, sc in next 4 st, (dec, sc in next 3 st) repeat 2
times, sc in next 15 st, dec, sc in next 4 st, dec, sc in next 15 st [56]

Make a decorative stitch with YarnArt Jeans color 54.

Rnd 15: (sc in next 2 st, dec, sc in next 3 st, dec) repeat 2 times, sc in next 16 st, dec, sc in
next 4 st, dec, sc in next 14 st [50]

Rnd 16: (dec, sc in next 6 st) repeat 2 times, dec, sc in next 7 st, (dec, sc in next 6 st) repeat 2
times, dec, sc in next 7 st [44]

Rnd 17: sl st, sc, hdc, dc in next 2 st, tr in next 5 st, dc in next 2 st, hdc, sc, sl st [15]
Rnd 18: Crab stitch all along, fasten off

Purse

Start in light grey yarn – YarnArt Lily color 4920.


Rnd 1: start (ch 3, dc 12) in a magic ring [12]

Row 2: [light yellow yarn] turn, 2 lifting ch, (dc in next 3 st, inc) repeat 3 times [15]

Row 3: [blue yarn] turn, 2 lifting ch, (dc, inc) repeat 7 times, dc [22]

Row 4: [light yellow yarn] turn, 2 lifting ch, (dc in next 2 st, inc) repeat 7 times, dc [29]

Row 5: [light grey yarn] turn, 2 lifting ch, (dc in next 3 st, inc) repeat 7 times, dc [36]

Row 6: [light grey yarn] turn, 2 lifting ch, dc all along the flat side

Row 7 – 8: [light grey yarn] turn, 2 lifting ch, dc in every st, fasten off
Repeat and crochet this piece again. Join two pieces together with sc and
then crochet crab stitch. Do not fasten off. Look at the photos.

Continue crocheting the purse’s handle – ch 135, sc on the other side of the
bag, sc all along the chain, sc on the first side, fasten off.
Follow the diagram and make the third piece of the purse. Use YarnArt Lily.

Rnd 5: [dark blue yarn] crab stitch all along the square, but crochet ch 6 on one corner and
sc along the chain, fasten off.

Attach this part to the purse. Make whit blue yarn ch 4 and attach it to the
front. The purse is ready.
Headband
Start in pink yarn – YarnArt Jeans color 74
Row 1: ch 138

Row 2: sc in the 11th stitch from the hook, (ch 5, sc in the 6th st) repeat 22 times

Row 3: turn, ch 4, sc in the center of the previous row’s chain, (ch 5, sc in the center of the
previous row’s chain) repeat 22 times, ch 3, sc
Row 4: turn, (ch 5, sc in the center of the previous row’s chain) repeat 23 times

Work the first sc is in the second chain, look at the photo.

Row 5 = Row 3 Row 8 = Row 4

Row 6 = Row 4 Row 9 = Row 3

Row 7 = Row 3 Row 10 = Row 4

Fasten off.

Make three flowers – light yellow, dark pink and dark blue – YarnArt Lily.
Sew them on the headband. The following photos show how to tie the
headband.

Outfit for Annie the Artist Teddy Bear is ready.
