b. For each selected technology, create MS Word document and write a brief
description, working mechanism and explanation on how these emerging
technologies are used in various walks of life.

The 5G Technology: -
The mobile technology Started with the First Generation
(1Generation) that include the wireless voice transmission and communication
people could use phone away from their homes or in cars. 2G (Second Generation)
technology introduced the SMS or short messaging services. The move to 3G
provided the core network speeds needed to launch smartphones. 4G, with its high
data-transfer rates, enabled video with minimal buffering and gave rise to many of
the connected devices and services that we rely on and enjoy today. 5G is Fifth
generation of wireless technology. It can provide higher speed, lower delays in
network communication and greater capacity than 4G LTE networks. It is one of the
fastest, most robust technologies the world has ever seen. That means quicker
downloads, lower lag time and a significant impact on how people communicate,
interact, and entertain. 5G speed and other connectivity benefits are expected to
make businesses more efficient and give consumers access to more information than
ever before.
Machine Learning: -
Machine Learning is the branch of computer science that
studied how computer can learn without being directly programed. We probably use
a learning algorithm dozens of time without even knowing it. Application of Machine
Learning include:
 Web Search Engine:
One of the reason why search engine like google, Bing etc.
work so well is because system has learnt how to rank pages through a complex
learning algorithm.
 Photo Tagging Applications:
Whether it is Facebook or any other photo
tagging application, the ability to tag friends makes it even more happening. It
is all possible because of a face recognition algorithm that runs behind the
application.
 Spam Detector:
Our mail agent like Gmail or Hotmail does a lot of work for us
in classifying the mails and moving the spam mails to spam folder. This is
again achieved by a spam classifier running in the back end of mail
application.

Block Chain: -
A block chain is a digital record keeping system that is decentralized
and distributed across a network of computer. It is used to track and verify
transactions that take place using a particular digital currency, such as Bitcoin. In a
block chain, each transaction is recorded and verified by multiple computers on the
network, rather than being stored in a central location such as a bank. This makes it
very secure, as it is nearly impossible for anyone to alter the record of transactions
without being detected. In addition to being used for digital currencies, block chain
technology has many other potential applications. For example, it could be used to
securely track the ownership and transfer of any type of asset, such as real estate or
artwork. It could be used to create a permanent, unchangeable record of votes in an
election, or to securely store and share medical records.
