 Why did we do it?
Being owners of a great many pets, our worst fear was losing
one. As we are marketing and technical people, we came up
with the FindMyPet idea to utilize our expertise, the power of
the internet, mobile phones, some AI, along with the eyes of
the crowd to build a solution to the problem.
Over the last 5 years, spent more than $75,000 to design the
systems, build the first test versions of the phone apps, build
the back end systems, build the website, and test everything
with our beta testers.
Now we need your help to update it for 2020 technology and

 How does it work?
When you lose your pet. Use the FindMyPet app or website to enter
your lost pet’s information along with some photos, or if you have
pre-programmed it, just set it for search mode. The rest is
automatic.

What do others see? People who have FindMyPet on their phone

within the current area will instantly get a notification with the
information and photo.

When they find your pet. All they have to do is take a photo of your
pet with the FindMyPet app, which is then shared with all users in
the area. If they can capture the pet, they can report they have it
and contact you directly via the app. As your pet moves, and people
take more pictures, the GPS coordinates of each photo will enlarge
or shrink the search area.

FindMyPet does not replace other options but

works work well with them. Our goal is to be
the fastest, easiest and most accurate.

 Injected Chips
Contrary to popular belief, the chip injected by the
Veterinarian does not track your pet by satellite or any
other technology.

It is purely an ID number that the shelter or vet can scan to

look it up in a database. It does not have a name, address,
or any other information.

You are 100% responsible keep the local shelters, vets, and
online databases updated when you move or they will
have no way to contact you if they have your pet.

 GPS Trackers
You can purchase a collar with a GPS tracker on
it, but that requires the following:
• Your cat/dog must tolerate that bulky gadget
around their neck.
• You must keep the batteries charged daily.
• You will need a cell phone account and SIM card
to put into the tracker. (yes, your dog/cat will
have a cell number and phone bill).
• Your pet is in an area that has cell phone
coverage.

 Facebook Pages
Facebook doesn’t know where you are or where the
missing pet was last seen, so you get more pets than
you care to see (for example, in New York).
The public must be a member of the page or group to
receive the postings.
Any postings are mixed in with thousands of other
postings you get daily, so there is no sense of urgency.
Facebook decides what to show you or not, so you
may not see an important lost pet or others may not
see yours.

Anonymously report Animal Abuse. Just take a photo with GPS
on and we do the rest by reporting it, with the photo, to the
proper authorities in that area.
Report dead Animals. Just take a photo with GPS on and we do
the rest to try to inform the owner, and the authorities to
remove the body.
Find Help. Whether it is location and phone number of local
veterinarians or asking someone to drive you to the vet,
FindMyPet provides a quick way to get help.
Share your story. You can share your story with others within the
app’s private Social Media system.

Q: What is the money used for?
A: Paying people to do work and for technology costs. We
do not pay for overheads like rent, etc because we all
work virtually and are COVID ready. Excess money is
used to support other animal related causes.

Q: Why can’t you get corporate sponsorship?

A: We are working towards that, but it is chicken and egg
situation. Corporations want a “what’s in it for us”
relationship, and they want us to have millions of users
before it is of value to them to sponsor us.

Q: Can you guarantee you will find my pet?
A: No, but we can guarantee that many more
people will see your lost pet information than
do now, and much faster.

Q: Do I have to pay? I have seen sites/apps that

let you sign-up and search for free, but to get
the information you have to pay.
A: NEVER (But you may donate if you wish).

Q: How do you get everyone to install your
FindMyPet app?
A: FindMyPet is not only a stand-alone app, but
is integrated into an app platform called
Tell.ME which is used for many different
mobile internet based services. So by

A: No, our goals are the same – to get pets back
to their owners as fast as possible.
