SNOW WHITE and THE SEVEN DWARFS

GROUP 1- EM11

(FIRST FRAME)

Once upon a time, there was a King and Queen who lived and ruled in a faraway land. The couple was
loved and adored by their people and had everything in life except of one thing--- they don’t have a
child.

(2nd FRAME)

One winter day, the Queen was doing a needle work and accidentally hurt her finger. As she looked at
the blood, she said to herself, “ Oh! How I wish that I had a daughter that had skin as white as snow, lips
as red as blood, and hair as black as ebony.”

(3rd FRAME)

Soon after, the queen conceived and gave birth to a beautiful girl, and named her Snow White. Not long
after, the queen died.

(4th FRAME)

The king re-married to a beautiful, but also superior and cruel woman. She knew dark magic and owned
a magic mirror. Every day, she would look onto the mirror and ask: “ Mirror Mirror on the wall, who is
the fairest of them all?” Instantly, the mirror would always reply: “ You, O Queen, are the fairest of all.”
Time passes by and the king died, too.

(5th FRAME)

Snow white was now left with her wicked stepmother. Angry and jealous of Snow White’s beauty, she
made her work as a servant in the huge castle.

(6th FRAME)

One day, when the Queen- the stepmother, asked the magic mirror again, its reply suddenly changed. “
Famed is thy beauty, Majesty. But behold, a lovely lady I see. Alas, she is more fair than thee. Lips as red
as rose, hair as black as ebony, and skin as white as now.” The queen was furious and became even
more jealous.

(7th FRAME)

The next morning, the Queen ordered her huntsman to take Snow White into the forest and kill her. “
Bring back her heart as a proof of her death,” she commanded.
(8th FRAME)

The huntsman led Snow White to the forest but, to his despair he could not kill her. He told Snow White
to hide in the forest. Then he took an animal’s heart and show it to the Queen.

(9th FRAME)

Snow White walk deep into the forest. She was very scared but the animals guide her to a little house.
Snow White knocked on the door and went inside. She wondered who could live in such a tiny home.

(10th FRAME)

There, she found seven dusty little chairs, seven dirty spoons and bowls, and seven untidy small beds. “
Perhaps messy children live here”, she uttered. She then brush off and cleaned all over the house, and
lay across three of the tiny beds and fell asleep.

(11th FRAME)

Evening came and the owners of the house returned. There are seven dwarfs, working in diamond
mines in the mountain. They marched singing, “ Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it’s home from work we go!”

(12th FRAME)

As soon as they entered their house, they noticed the changes. Their home was now clean. They
searched for the intruder. They reached the bedroom just as Snow White was waking up. “Who are
you?” they asked. “My name is Snow White,” she responded.

(13th FRAME)

She explained to the seven dwarfs the reason why she came to their place and the truth about her
stepmother trying to kill her. After then, the seven dwarfs introduced themselves.

“I’m Doc.”

“I’m Grumpy.”

“I’m Bashful.”

“I’m Sleepy.”

“I’m Sneezy.”

“I’m Happy.”

“And he’s Dopey, all shouted.

“It is my greatest pleasure to meet you all. If you let me stay here, I promise to look after the house and
serve you all,” said Snow White.
(14th FRAME)

Meanwhile, back in the castle, the evil-stepmother mouthed the magic words to the mirror. She asked,
“Mirror, Mirror, on the wall, who in this land is fairest of all?” The magic mirror immediately replied,
“You, my Queen, are fair; it is true. But Snow White, beyond the mountains, with the seven dwarfs, is
still a thousand times fairer than you.”

(15th FRAME)

The Queen was furious again. She believed the magic mirror never lies. Down in the dark room, the
Queen cast a magic spell to disguise herself as an old pedlar woman. She chanted a magic spell, dipped a
bright red apple in a pot of bubbling poison. “ One bite of this and Snow White will fall into sleep just as
dead,” she cackled. “Only a kiss from her true love will awaken her!”

(16th FRAME)

Next day, after the dwarfs left for work, the old woman came and offered Snow White an apple. Snow
White answered, “ I cannot let anyone in and I must not accept anything from strangers.” But, the old
pedlar was stubborn. “ Try this, pretty lady, one bite and all your dreams will come true,” the old woman
said.

(17th FRAME)

Snow White took one bite of the apple and fell as if dead instantly. “ Now, I am the fairest in this land,”
the old woman exclaimed.

(18th FRAME)

Just as when the old woman was about to leave, the seven dwarfs saw her. They chased her through the
forest and up the mountain. The wicked Queen tried to roll a huge stone down but, she got pushed back
instead, falling off from the mountain side, never seen again.

(19th FRAME)

When the dwarfs returned home, they found Snow White lying on the floor. They placed her in a special
coffin in the forest, and watched over every day.

(20th FRAME)

One day, a handsome young prince came riding through the forest. He saw the princess, Snow White
lying on a coffin elegantly. He came to her and was instantly amazed by her beauty. He then leaned over
and kissed her on the lips.

(21st FRAME)
All at once, Snow White flashed her eyes again. “She’s awake!” the dwarfs shouted happily. The prince
asked Snow White to come home with him and live together. “ Come with me back to my castle. You
shall become my wife,” he said.

(22nd FRAME)

After exchanging their goodbyes, the dwarfs watched the young Prince and Snow White leaving. They
knew they would miss her but, they also need to admit that Snow White and the Prince would live
happily ever after.
