Digilocker Digbocker
DigiLocker is a cloud-based digital document storage platform
provided by the Government of India under the Digital India
initiative.
It allows Indian citizens to securely store, access, and share digital
copies of important documents like Aadhaar, PAN card, driving
license, vehicle registration, educational certificates, and more.
The platform eliminates the need for physical documents by
providing verified digital versions issued directly by government
agencies.STEPS TO UPLOAD A DOCUMENT
+ STEP 1- Login to DigiLocker
Go to DigiLocker website or open the DigiLocker app. Log in using
your Aadhaar number, mobile number, or username. Than
Digilocker will send a OTP on your registered mobile number, enter
the OTP received and log in.
* STEP 2 - Access the “Uploaded Documents” Section
On the homepage, click on “Upload Documents”. In the app, click
on drive and choose the folder in which you want to upload the
document or create a new folder.* STEP 3 - Upload Your Document
Click on “Upload” and select the file from your device or tap on
“Open Camera” to take a photo of the document.
* STEP 4 - Add Document Details
After uploading, enter details like document type, name, and
description. Click “Save” to complete the process.
* STEP 5 - Verify Document
After uploading, Digilocker will verify the document. If the
document is verified successfully, it will be stored in your Digilocker
account.* STEP 6 - Access & Share Your Document
The uploaded document will be available in “My Documents” under
“Uploaded Documents.” You can share it digitally using the “Share”
option, which provides a secure link.
