Summary of the story
Apollo Slays The Python And Offends Cupid
The story started with the encounter of Apollo and Eros.
One day he saw Eros the god of love training his bow with elegant and nobility
despite of his child like figure which make Apollo feel envious.
Apollo is known for his bow which he use to defeat the fearsome serpent python.
That’s where Apollo started to provoke Eros with his harsh and provocative
words.
Because of Apollo’s words Eros exceeded his patients and got mad.
Eros just waited to turn back Apollo and then he shot him with his arrow.
What do you think will happen?
Apollo now is under influence of love because of Eros arrow.
As Apollo recovered she met a beautiful nymph.

Apollo met daphne a daugther of Peneus o god of river which he fall in love.
But on the other hand Eros is not yet satisfied on lesson that he wanted to teach to
Apollo.
That is why he struck his arrow to Daphne’s heart.
What do you think will happen to Daphne? Will she feel the same way as Apollo did
or not?

The arrow that struck to Daphne is opposite from what Apollo’s feeling which
make’s Daphne’s immediately want’s to turn away from Apollo as he
approaching her.
She was disgusted to Apollo’s existence.
What do you think will happen next?
Daphne try to run away from him but Apollo still pursuit her.
But when the god was about to catch her near the river, she ask for help to his
father because it’s becoming a curse to her. And it was granted by his father.

The moment Apollo grasp her Daphne slowly turning into tree and he was so
devastated.
And as he tried to grasp daphne’s hair only the leaves remains in his hands.
Daphne has already turned into a Laurel tree where Apollo makes the tree as his
secret plant as he was denied to lover her.
And on that day Apollo create a Laurel wreath from Daphne’s leave which he
wear on his head and become a symbol of glory.
After that apollo feels deep regret on having disagreement with god of love
because after that day Apollo was never lucky in love.
