SAP GUI Installation


This document provides access to all files needed for students to install the SAP GUI on Windows or Mac
computers. Students should contact their instructor if they are unable to install the SAP GUI. No license is
needed.

Go to the appropriate section (Windows or Mac) for installation files.

Windows:
SAP GUI 800
Requirements: Windows 10 or Windows 11 and 500MB of disk space.
The Installation and Troubleshooting guides screen shots are from previous GUI versions, but the steps and all
supporting documentation are transferable to proceeding with the 800 version. The steps are the same.
Files:
SAP GUI Windows Installation Guide. Download and review this file first.

SAP GUI Windows Troubleshooting Guide. If unable to successfully install, review before contacting
your instructor.

SAP GUI for Windows Theme Settings


Depending on the curriculum your instructor/class is using, you may find that screen shots and icons
look different than your installed GUI. This is because the current 800 GUI has different themes and
options than previous GUI versions. The changes are not significant, but if you want to change the
settings on your installed GUI instance to look more like your materials, use this link for instructions.
SAP GUI Options and Settings.

Mac:
Requirements: Minimum OS version is macOS Catalina 10.15.
Current version: SAP GUI 7.80p6
SAP GUI for Mac does NOT support graphical features such as displaying charts or graphs.
Human Capital Management and Project Management modules rely heavily on these graphical features.
