Section C: Reading Comprehension MCQ
Read the passage below and answer questions 21 to 25.
Julio Iglesias is a world - renowned singer and songwriter. He has sold more than 350 1
million records in fourteen languages worldwide and performed for over 60 million people.
Most people would consider him lucky. However, when he was younger, he was not so
fortunate. Julio was a skillful goalkeeper and had a promising career with Real Madrid
Football Club in Spain while studying law in a university. Unfortunately, he met with a 5
serious car accident, which made him partially paralysed and could no longer play football
  professionally.
After the accident, he spent a year in hospital and had to put his studies on hold.
During his recovery, Julio was given a guitar by one of his nurses so that he could
improve the movement of his fingers. Julio taught himself to play by accompanying songs 10
on the radio. No matter how frustrated he was, he always made sure to give it his best. At
that time, he discovered his talent for singing.
After Julio left the hospital, he completed his law studies because he wanted to be a
lawyer. However, he began to develop a great passion in singing. In the end, he decided
to devote himself to music instead of law. In 1968, he won a Spanish song competition 15
  that rose him to fame.
Perhaps Julio could have been a good lawyer, but he has certainly done very well as a
  singer and songwriter.
