Exercise 1

The document outlines a project to design a Smart Home Automation System using Arduino, LEDs, push buttons, and a DHT11 sensor for remote control of lights and fans. It includes steps for using Tinkercad to simulate the circuit and control devices based on button presses or temperature readings. A detailed project report must be prepared and submitted in a specified format, including a naming convention for the folder.

EXERCISE-1

Design Smart Home Automation System

Objective: Create a system to control LED lights and fans remotely.
Components: Arduino, LEDs, push buttons, and a DHT11 sensor.
Features: Control devices using virtual switches in Tinkercad and monitor room
temperature.
Methodology
1. Use virtual components such as LEDs, push buttons, and a DHT11 sensor
from Tinkercad's component library.
2. Write an Arduino sketch to control the LEDs based on button presses or
temperature/humidity readings.
3. Simulate the circuit to observe real-time control of LEDs.

Note- After completing the project, kindly prepare a detailed project report and
upload it to the LMS. Ensure the report is well-structured, includes all relevant
details, and adheres to the required format.
Once completed, compile them into a single PDF. The file should be named as
follows:
For example, if your name is Sivabalan P and your registration number is
23011103051 IoTB, then the folder name should be:
23011103051_Sivabalan_IoTB_Assignment1
Ensure your submission is clear, properly formatted, and adheres to the naming
convention.
