1. Are you a student or are you working?

Well, Im currently a highschool student at....

2. What do you like about your school?

I've always been in love with the fact that my school has a lot of clubs and

extracurricular activities, which I think is a great opportunity for me to enhance my

soft skills such as communication and also expand my social circle.

3. What do you dislike about your school?

What Im not really into about my school is the fact that the school curriculum is

pretty heavy, which put me under pressure once in a while and I dont have much

time for recreational activities.

- Well, I've always been fascinated by the cuisine here. I mean, it has a lot of

delicious food with reasonable price, which is paradise for a foodie like me.

- Well, Im really into the fact that my hometown is full of recreational places, which

can help me alleviate stress and recharge my batteries after a long period of

studying.

- Well, Im really into the scenery here, which is absolutely stunning/spectacular.

That's why it's always in the bucket list of many avid travellers and IM NO

EXCEPTION.

- - Well, Im really into the people here, who are very friendly and kind-hearted. I

mean, they are always willing to give others a hand when needed.

6. What do you dislike about your hometown?

- To be honest, Im not really into the traffic here, which

is extremely/incredibly chaotic (khêi o địchk). I mean, the streets are always full of

vehicles (vi-ờ-khồz), especially during rush hours.

- Well, Im not really into the air quality here, which is seriously polluted. I mean,

some rivers are full of trash, which is detrimental to people's health.

FOOD

1. What’s you favorite food?

I've always been addicted to/ crazy about Pho, which is regarded as the iconic food
of Vietnamese cuisine. it's not only scrumptious but also very affordable/ budget-

friendly. That's why I always have it for breakfast.

2. Have you always liked the same food?

I gotta say NO, I used to be crazy about fastfood because it's super delicious, but

then I realized that they are very detrimental to my health. So now I prefer more

healthy food such as fruits and veggies.

3. What do you think about fast food?

Well I suppose some of the biggest advantages of fastfood is it's

very convenient and time-saving, which is suitable for those who have a

hectic schedule. However, it can cause several diseases such

as obesity and diebetes.

4. Why do people consume a lot of fast food?

You know, people today are always occupied with work so they usually opt

for fastfood instead of home-cooked meals because it's more convenient and

tasty.

5. Why should people have a healthy diet?

Well, I suppose that people should follow a healthy diet because it's really beneficial

to people's mental and physical health. I mean, it can lower the risks of some

diseases such as obesity and diebetes.

6. How often do you cook?

Actually I rarely get into the kitchen because my mom is a great cook and she can

cook almost all the dishes. Besides, Im always occupied with my study so I dont have

much time for that. I wish I could have more time for cooking in the future.

7. How often do you eat out? Who do you go with

Well, pretty often because Im always occupied with my study and I dont have a
knack for cooking so eating out is the best choice for me and I usually go with my

family.

8. What restaurant do you usually visit?

Well my all-time favorite restaurant is called Lau Phan, which is

a well-known/renowned hot pot restaurant in my city. it serves many kinds of

food with affordable prices, which is the reason why it's always packed with

customers, especially at the weekend.

9. What type of food do you enjoy to eat? Western or Asian?

Well, I would lean towards Asian cuisine because obviously, Im Asian so it's

more familiar to me. Besides, it's more flavorful because Asian food is normally

made from many kinds of ingredients.

10. How much do you usually pay when you eat out?

I usually fork out about 200-300k when I eat at a restaurant and I often go with

hotpot or BBQ, although they're scrumptious, the price is prohibitive (prơ hi bờ địpv)/

not really budget-friendly so I just have them on special occasions.

11. Do you enjoy spicy food?

Im really keen on spicy food because it makes eating more exciting. but sometimes,

I prefer non-spicy food because too much of it can be bad for my stomach.

Well, If Im not mistaken/ If my memory serves me right

MUSIC, MOVIES, HOBBIES

1. Do you like listening to music?

Sure, I've always been a music lover. I usually listen to it whenever Im in a

bad mood because it can cheer me up NO ENDDDDDD.

2. What kinds of music do you like to listen to?

I've always been crazy about Pop because it's not only catchy but also easy to

sing along.

3. Do you play any kinds of musical instruments?

No but If I had a chance, I would definitely give it a shot. I'd like to learn how

to play the piano because it can create melodious/ harmonious melodies.

4. How much time do you spend listening to music every day?

As I said before/ As I was saying, Im really into music so I usually spend about 30

minutes listening to my favorite songs everyday, especially whenever Im under

stress.

5.Do you usually go to bars or clubs?

Well, I gotta say no because I'VE always BEEN occupied with my study. Even if I have

free time, I prefer taking part in recreational activities such as playing

sports. Besides, I dont like crowded places.


6. What do you think about the teenagers’ music style?

well, most of the young today are into catchy and upbeat music such as Kpop, EDM,

which I think is pretty understandable because young people are normally under

a lot of stress/pressure, and these kinds of music can really help them alleviate

stress and unwind.

7. Have you ever thought of forming a music band?

Well, that idea has never crossed my mind because Im pretty tone deaf and I also

dont have a knack for singing.

MOVIES

1.Do you like watching films?

Absolutely, I've always been a movie buff. I think watching movies is one of

the most fantastic ways to unwind and burn off Stress after long hours

of studying/ a long period of studying/ after a long day at school.

2.Do you prefer foreign films or films made in your country?

Well, I would lean towards the former because they have better actors, sound

effects and plot twists than domestic movies, that's why whenever there's a

blockbuster at the cinema, it's always packed with audience.

3.What kinds of movies do you like best?

Im really addicted to horror movies. this is because they are not only suspenseful

but also have many meaningful messages.

4.How often do you go to a cinema to watch a movie?

well, given the fact that Im a movie junkie, I visit the cinema on a regular basis. You

know, I love watching blockbusters on a giant screen with lively sound effects.
5. Do you like to watch movies alone or with your friends?

well, I gotta say that it denpends on the genre of the movie. For instance, if it's

a horror movie, I like to watch with my friends because it's less scary, but if it's a

romantic movie then I prefer watching alone because i dont want anybody to see me

cry.

6.What is your favorite movie?

Well, my all-time favorite movie is, HANDS DOWN, Harry Potter, which is regarded

as a blockbuster of all time. The movie revolves around/ is about the battle

between a young wizard and the lord of darkness, which I find

absolutely fascinating/captivating.

7.Do you want to be a movie star?

No, I never fancy the idea of becoming a well-known actor/actress because I dont

have a knack for acting. Besides, I may lose my privacy because the public

and paparazzis are always watching everywhere I go and everything I do. / pa pơ ra

Yes, It would be fantastic to be a well-known actor/actress. This is because I can live

a luxurious life and be admired by many people.

HOBBIES

1. Do you have any hobbies?

Well, I have a lot of leisure pursuits/ recreational activities, and one of them is

playing games. This is because....after long hours of studying.

2. Is it important to have a hobby?

Without a doubt, you know, everybody today is always occupied with their work and

study, so they need a leisure pursuit to recharge their batteries and work

more effectively.
3.What hobbies are popular in your country?

Well, most of Vietnamse are fond of going to the cinema. You know, they love

watching blockbusters on a giant screen with lively sound effects.

4.Is it harmful to spend too much time on a hobby?

Definitely, spending an excessive amount of time on a leisure pursuit can

be detrimental to people's health and they dont spend enough time for their loved

ones

SPORTS

1. Do you often do exercises?

For sure, I've always been a health-conscious person so I work out on a regular

basis. Doing exercise not only helps me alleviate stress but also increases my

strength and flexibility.

2. What kinds of exercises do you do?

WEll, my favorite exercises are running on the treadmill/ going jogging or doing

some push-ups, which I think is a good way to build muscles and burn fat/calories.

3. Do young people in your country like to do exercise?

Not really, because they are always busy/occupied with their work or study. Even if

they have free time, they prefer to take part in recreational activities instead

of/rather than physical ones.

4. Do you think children should play sports regularly?

Absolutely, because they are always under a lot of pressure from studying, so

playing sports often can help them unwind and recharge their batteries.

Well, when I was a little kid, I was a big fan of badminton. I often played it with other

Unfortunately No, because Im always occupied with my study so I dont have much

time for that/ So I dont have as much free time as I did, which is not smt I like at all.

7. Do you like extreme sports?

To be honest, I've never been a big fan of extreme sports. Although I know that they

can help me expand my personal boundaries, I still find them extremely dangerous.

8. Are boys and girls good at the same sports?

I gotta say No. boys tend to master sports which require a lot of strength and

stamina. On the other hand, girls tend to perform well with sports that require lots

of finesse /phơ néts/ and flexibility.

9. Do you often watch sports on TV?

Not as often as I used to because at the moment, Im busier with my study, so I dont

have much time watching TV

Yes, because going to a stadium to watch sports can be time-consuming and the

ticket price can be costly, so watching sports on TV is the better option for me.

10. Do you prefer watching or playing sports?

Well, I would lean towards the latter because it's more exciting and competitive

11. Who is your favourite sports star?

Well, my all-time favorite athlete is......, who's widely regarded as one of the most

talented football players in the world, that's why he has MILLIONS OF FANS all over

the world.

12. Do you have any unhealthy habits?

Of course/ who doesn't

I usually stay up late to finish my homework, which I think is extremely detrimental

to my health and my appearance.

13. In what ways do you try to stay healthy?

Well, Im trying to follow a healthy diet, which has mostly veggies and lean meat.

Besides, I also try to hit the gym to work out on a daily basis to keep fit.

14. Is it easy to keep fit where you live?

Not really because there are various fast food restaurants where I live such as KFC or

Mc Donal, so it's pretty hard to resist the temptation to eat them. On top of that,

there are not many sports centers where I can work out.

15. What do you think is more important, eating healthy or doing exercise?

I suppose they are equally important. while having a healthy diet can help you

prevent many diseases such as obesity, working out regularly can help you

strengthen your physical health.

16. Do you and your friends eat much junk food?

it's a bit embarrassing but I gotta say yes. Although I know junk food

is detrimental to my health, I still find them scrumptious and cheap/affordable.


SCHOOL

1. What is your favorite subject at school?

Well, If Im not mistaken/ If my memory servers me right

I was really passionate about chemistry as I got to do many chemical experiments,

which I found really fascinating.

2. Do you work or are you a student?

Well, Im currently a junior at…., which is regarded as one of the top schools in

Vietnam. Im majoring in...., which I think could help me land a good job with a

handsome salary in the future

3. Do you like your major?

Why not, I find it extremely practical and beneficial/helpful to my future career. I

mean, it could help me to land a good job with a handsome salary/ it could bring me

many employment opportunities in the future.

4. What kind of school did you go to as a child?

I went to a public school, which is located in the central Hanoi. Im really fond of

the atmosphere here, which is really relaxing. Besides, my teachers and friends are

really supportive and friendly, which is my motivation to go to school everyday.

5. What do you like/dislike about your school?

What Im into the most about my school is the facilities here, which are very modern.

I mean, it’s equipped with lots of elevators, ACs and projectors, which is very

beneficial for my study. Besides, there are various extracurricular activities, which I

think is a great opportunity for me to expand my social circle and enhance my soft

skills.

However/having said that, the school curriculum is pretty heavy, which can put me
under pressure once in a while.

6. Do you think that our education is really effective and practical?

Not really, I mean many subjects are quite theoretical, they are not only hard to

remember but also almost impossible to adopt in real life. For example, when I

studied English, I was taught mostly grammar and not enough communication,

which made it very difficult for me to communicate with foreigners.

7. What kind of job would you prefer after graduation?

Well, I wanna become

MUSEUMS

1. How often do you visit museums?

well, it really depends. If I have much free time, I would go to museums probably

once or twice a month.

On the other hand, If Im occupied with my study, I can only visit them maybe once a

year.

Well, Im not exactly a museum goer so I rarely pay them a visit. I find them

pretty tedious because there are nothing much except for some relics, sculptures

and paintings.

To be honest, Im not much of a museum goer because I dont find them interesting at

all/ because I find them pretty tedious, I prefer going to recreational places to chill

out with my friends.


2. What kind of museum do you like?

Well, I've always been interested in historical museums because they help me not

only unwind but also

- enrich/expand/widen/broaden my knowledge about

- acquire a deeper understanding of

the cultural and historical values of my country.

3. Are there many museums in your country?

Well, not many. As far as I know, there are only a few museums such as historical or

art museums, which I think are pretty popular in my country.

Well, given the fact that Vietnam is a country steeped in history and culture,

museums are ubiquitous, which I think is amazing because people can

easily acquire a deeper understanding of my country's history.

4. Do you think museums are useful for visitors?

Absolutely, museums provide knowledge and information about

my country's tradition and culture for tourists, that's why they are regarded as a

nation's treasure.

5.Did you go to any museums when you were a child?

yeah, when I was a kid, I used to be curious about everything, and museums are no

exception. If Im not mistaken, I visited a ton of museums but I only have vague

memories about them.

6. When was the last time you visited a museum?

If Im not mistaken, the last time I paid a visit to a museum was probably 2 years

ago. At that time, I was impressed by the large amount of historical and cultural

work there.

7. Is there any beautiful scenery in your hometown?


Sure, there are a lot of spectacular landscapes in my hometown and one of the

most popular tourist magnets is the Sword lake, which is renowned for its history and

crystal clear water.

8. Do you enjoy visiting places with beautiful views?

Who doesn't, I've always been a travel lover and I take a keen interest

in photography so I always opt for places with stunning views when travelling.

9. Do you like taking pictures of beautiful scenery?

I've always been passionate about photography because it allows me to share my

life and experiences through the lense of the camera.
