L. Job Description:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key player in developing and maintaining
our web portal and eCommerce platforms. You will leverage your extensive experience
in application development to design and implement robust and scalable solutions that
meet our business needs. You will be expected to lead development efforts, collaborate
with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our
software development processes.
M. Key Responsibilities:
a) Object-Oriented Development:
Apply strong understanding of object-oriented web development principles to create
scalable and maintainable code.
Utilize OOAD (Object-Oriented Architecture & Design) methodologies to design and
implement software solutions.
b) Framework and Web Services:
Demonstrate sound knowledge of CodeIgniter or other PHP frameworks to develop web
applications using the latest PHP version.
Develop and integrate web services, ensuring they are efficient, secure, and aligned with
best practices.
c) Python Development:
Utilize Python to build, test, and maintain applications and services.
Collaborate with other developers to integrate Python-based solutions into the existing
system.
d) Database Interaction:
Have a basic understanding of RDBMS like MySQL to effectively interact with and
manage databases.
Ensure data integrity and optimize database queries for performance.
e) Product and Development Standards:
Handle product versions and adhere to development standards to ensure high-quality
deliverables.
Implement and maintain coding best practices and version control processes.
f) AGILE Methodology:
Work within an AGILE framework to deliver software solutions iteratively and
incrementally.
Participate in AGILE ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and
retrospectives.
g) Source Code Control:
Use source code control systems to manage code changes, maintain version history,
and collaborate with other developers.
h) Innovation and Initiative:
Demonstrate an innovative thought process and take initiative to propose new ideas and
improvements.
