Instructions
1. Determine if installed S1495-6 fuel supply and vent hoses are affected by review of applicable airplane
paperwork such as logbooks and/or applicable work orders and sales/shipping receipts or by visually
inspecting the hose. Refer to Step 8 for detailed information.
A. If it is determined that the hose is affected, Proceed to Step 2.
B. If it is determined that the hose is not affected, Proceed to Step 19.
2. If affected, electrically ground the airplane and turn all switches to the "OFF" position. If external electrical
power is connected to the airplane, disconnect external electrical power.
3. Disconnect the airplane battery. (Refer to the applicable Model Service Manual.)
4. Attach maintenance warning tags to the battery and external power receptacle that have DO NOT
CONNECT ELECTRICAL POWER - MAINTENANCE IN PROGRESS written on them.
5. Remove and keep screws and access panels in the left wing, and in the right wing as necessary to get
access to the supply fuel hoses. (Refer to the applicable Model Service Manual and Parts Catalog
as necessary.)
6. Remove and keep the fairings at the wing/fuselage intersections as necessary. (Refer to the applicable
Model Service Manual and Parts Catalog as necessary.)
7. Remove left and right headliner trim molding and door moldings as necessary, and keep the fasteners.
(Refer to the applicable Model Service Manual and Parts Catalog as necessary.)
NOTE: It may be necessary on some models to remove both sun visors, keep the fasteners and hardware.

8. Do an inspection of all fuel supply and fuel vent hoses in the left and right wing root, the dry bay and
the overhead fuel vent areas.
A. Look for any S1495-6 Hoses that are identified as Dayco 7095 or Boston. Also look for fuel hoses
that are not identified and are hard.
(1) Hoses that are identified as Dayco 7095 or Boston must be replaced. Go to Step 9.
(2) Hoses that are not identified and are hard must be replaced. Go to Step 9.
NOTE: Fuel hoses that are hard can be determined when you try to compress the hose
between your thumb and forefinger. Hoses that do not compress or are not resilient
must be replaced.
(3) If all fuel hoses are not hard or are identified as Dayco 6L3, Dayco B706 or Parker 706,
go to Step 14.
9. Defuel the airplane. (Refer to the applicable Model Service Manual as necessary.)
10. Remove and replace all fuel hoses that are unsatisfactory.
11. Replace each removed fuel hose with new S1495-6 Hose known to be from stock hose that is identified
as Dayco 6L3, Dayco B706 or Parker B706.
12. Refuel the airplane. (Refer to the applicable Model Service Manual as necessary.)
13. Do a leak check on the fuel hose(s) that you replaced in Step 11.
14. Install the headliner trim moldings, door moldings and the sun visors that were removed in Step 7 as
necessary.
