Key Features of RA 11223
• Automatic PhilHealth Enrollment – All Filipinos are now PhilHealth
members.
• Primary Health Care Provider Network (PCPN) – Strengthens
community-based health services.
• Two Types of Membership:
• Direct Contributors – Employed, self-employed, OFWs, professionals, etc.
• Indirect Contributors – Indigents, senior citizens, PWDs, and those sponsored by
the government.
• No Balance Billing Policy (NBB) – No additional fees for indigent
and vulnerable sectors.
• Integrated Local Health System – Public and private hospitals
work together to improve service delivery.
