Congratulations!

By picking up this book you have taken the first step

toward success and wealth. Whether you are seeking
financial wealth, spiritual wealth, or life wealth, this book
will provide you with the tools necessary to set your goals
and accomplish your dreams!

Hello! My name is Marilyn Snyder and welcome to

Secrets of Wealth.

The purpose of this book is to help you keep

dreaming….and start making your dreams come true.
Before you can realize wealth however, you must first
decide what you want to do with your life. Some people
figure this out early on. Dr. Robert Schuller, at age 5,
knew that he wanted to become a minister. As long as I
can remember, my niece has known that she wanted to
be a brain surgeon. For most people, this is not the case,
however. They
spend 15, 25, even 40 years at a job that they either don’t
really care for, or that they actually hate. During this time,
some of them
do wishful thinking and some of them try different things
on the side to “make their million.”

What is the difference between the ones who make it and

the ones who keep on trying without any actual success?

The ones who make it - have decided to.

Let’s start right now to find your passion, make some

decisions, and live the life that you were meant to live.

2
I believe that God wants every one of us to be successful
in all parts of our lives. That’s why he has given us the
abilities and talents that we have. It is up to us to apply
ourselves and use them, without any excuses getting in
the way.
Your Life – Your Choice

Secrets of Wealth #1
Discover Your Passion

“Our lives improve only when we take chances – and

the first and most difficult risk we can take is to be
honest with ourselves.”
Walter Anderson

Take the time right now – to discover your passion.

Look down deep inside of you to find your real wants and
dreams.
Your passion often will come from your natural abilities.
Everyone has natural talents. Some people are good at
accounting, others have great organizational skills. Some
people are natural born athletes, while still others are
great in leadership roles.

Not sure what your natural abilities are? Talk to people.

Ask them what they think you are good at. Ask them
where you would give the most value to others. Think
about the kinds of things that you
enjoy doing when you are alone. Think about what types
of activities you would enjoy doing with others.

Is there something you have always dreamed of pursuing,

but always thought that you couldn’t succeed in it? Write
it down! Finding what you love to do will give you the
passion that you need to focus and accomplish your goals
and dreams.

Really work at discovering your dreams and talents.

4
Once you have your true purpose in life, the commitment
and persistence that you need, will automatically be there.
You will still have to focus and “give it your all”, but you
will go the extra mile because of your passion for what
you are doing.
It is in that “extra mile” that success is often reached.
Your passion will keep you from getting discouraged
when obstacles surface and problems get in your way.
Your passion will help you look for the solution to
overcome the problem and the path to go around or over
the obstacle. In finding your passion, you will learn so
much more about yourself and what you truly want to do
with your life. Only by discovering this, will you find true
wealth.

Secrets of Wealth #2
Vision

See it! Believe it! Live it!

In order to realize wealth and success, you must first

visualize your outcome.
That is a fancy way of saying that you must “picture in
your mind” exactly where you want to be as if you are
already there! Get out the magazines – draw the stick
people – or if you are good at drawing (which I am not!)
draw the beautiful picture of what you will be doing when
your dream is accomplished!

If you can see it – you can be it.

Ask anyone who has ever been a little successful or wildly

successful. They “knew” they would be – so their mind
held that picture.

To achieve - first imagine yourself accomplishing your

goals. You must view yourself as successful and living
your dream life. Try to
form a picture of your success. Believe in the picture as
the here and now. Create a state of reality by imagining
your dreams as reality. Picture the details. If for
example, you have always wanted to live in a large
luxurious home, picture yourself in your dream
home. Take the time to actually imagine yourself in your
dream home. What style of home is it? Victorian?
Country? Perhaps it is a vacation home. Imagine what
the exterior looks like; is it made of

6
brick? Stone? Then picture the foyer. Imagine yourself
walking into your home, when you look up is there a
mural painted on your cathedral ceilings? How many
square feet is your home? Do you have a large bay
window? Maybe you have a fireplace in the bedroom.
Imagine yourself hanging out by the pool in the backyard,
enjoying a day’s peace.

Picture yourself in your home, happy, content and fulfilled.

Imagine feeling warm and satisfied. Smile. Tell yourself,
as if it is already achieved, “I love my home. It is
beautiful. My family and I are very happy here.”
Visualizing your success and goals help establish the
framework for your future. It causes your subconscious to
pull you toward your objectives.
Success and wealth are defined differently for different
people. Perhaps your idea of financial wealth is not
having any debt, and also having an ample savings
account. Others equate financial wealth with having
millions of dollars in the bank. Other people want to find
joy and happiness in their life through serving others on a
full time basis.
I believe a person can be wealthy in all areas of their life;
financially, spiritually, in their relationships, and through
serving others.

Write it down!

“If you do not know where

you are going, every road
will get you nowhere.”
Henry Kissinger

7
You must put your goals and your dreams down on
paper.

Don’t just think about them! Thoughts can easily be

distracted. When something is written down, it is over
halfway to becoming a reality. Ask any builder. Would
they just start hammering away?

Or would they want the blueprints of what they were going

to build - to give them a reference, a guideline, and an
actual plan to follow? It is critical that you write down your
ideas. Think about what your vision of the future is.
Picture yourself achieving your dreams.

Write it down.

Make sure that they are YOUR goals.

Not your friends’, parents’, spouse’s, or children’s goals.

They must be your goals or you will never have the
passion and commitment that is needed to make them
come true. You might get by for awhile – maybe even
years. But eventually you will lose your energy to
continue to focus on something that is not what you really
care about.

No matter how large or how small, your goals are

important.

How can you achieve something with your life if you don’t
know what you want to achieve? Most people don’t take
the time out to reflect on their life and figure out what
exactly it is that they want to achieve. Taking the time in
the beginning to plan your life’s direction is the difference
between just existing and actually living a full, wonderful,
abundant, wealth-filled life.

8
Don’t ever limit yourself by saying you should be satisfied
with whatever. The only limits you have are the ones that
you give yourself. Get rid of those limits right now. You
don’t need them and you don’t have time for them.

Take control of your life now.

9
Secrets of Wealth #3
Know your Reasons

“You have to find something that you love enough to be able

to take risks, jump over hurdles, and break through the brick
walls that are always going to be placed in front of you. If you
don’t have that kind of feeling for what it is you’re doing, you’ll
stop at the first giant hurdle.”
George Lucas

Why?

Why do you want to succeed?

Why do you want to reach a certain goal?
Why do you want to make a certain income?
Why do you want to pursue your passion?

When the going gets tough, and you want to throw in the
towel and give up on your dream - if you can look back at
why you want to accomplish it, it will give you new
enthusiasm and fire to keep going toward achieving it.

If you don’t know why you want to do something, the

minute a problem comes along; you will just give up on
everything, or quickly switch to the new idea of the week.

Take just 15 or 20 minutes and figure out WHY you want

to reach your goal or make your dreams come true.
Make them personal and specific. Don’t just say “to give
to the needy”. It will not give you the power you need to

10
make a commitment and to keep you focused. Write
down exactly where you want to take your family for your
vacation. Write down exactly what organization you want
to contribute to.

Write down specifically what you want to do with the

income that you are going to have. Write down the
specific income.

Our subconscious only knows what we tell it!

If you tell it the whys and the hows – it will help you seize
every opportunity that comes along, to make your goal
come true!

Your “reasons” give you urgency.

Without urgency to get things done now – what will make

us do them?

Why not just stay at the job we hate, keep the income
level we have, or live the same boring life we have gotten
in the habit of?

Your whys need to be powerful enough to get you off the

couch. Your whys need to be fulfilling enough to get you
to make decisions now. Your whys need to be compelling
enough to finally make you take charge and change your
life today.

11
Secrets of Wealth #4

Deadlines!

Start right now.

Create a plan, write it down and memorize it.

Map out all of the steps needed to get there. Make the
steps small enough that you can do them when
procrastination tries to rear its ugly head!
If you do just one small step – you have stopped
procrastination for that day. Each day that you do
another step makes you a stronger person. Give yourself
a deadline for even the smallest step and your self
confidence will soar and it will be easier to do the next
step and the next.

“There are those of us who are always about to live.

We are waiting until things change, until there is more
time, until we are less tired, until we get a promotion,
until we settle down - - until, until, until. It always
seems as if there is some major event that must
occur in or lives before we begin living.”
George Sheehan

It is extremely important to your self esteem to

accomplish goals continually and it also keeps you on
track toward the big finish! With a deadline – you will
push yourself to complete it – instead of letting
opportunities pass you by.

Get a daily planner and use it. It doesn’t do you a bit of

good to buy a planner and use it one day or one week.
Get into the habit of using it regularly for everything.
Personal business, work, fun, relaxing or serving others.
Schedule it all in. If you see something scheduled in

12
your planner, such as taking 2 hours of your day to write
an article, you are more likely to get it done. If you just
say you are going to do something “tomorrow” – tomorrow
might never come. Distractions and busy work can suck
the life out of any good plan, unless it is scheduled in.

Just like mapping out a road trip, with stops along the way
for food and refreshments, the journey toward your
dreams requires advanced planning and preparation.
Take the time – in the beginning - to consider why you are
pursuing an endeavor, and then write down the steps to
take you there. This is imperative for you to not only
reach your goal, but to reach it by the deadline you set for
yourself.

13
Secrets of Wealth #5

You are Worthy!

My Sunday School class recites the following words

before they leave for the day:

“I am not better than you. I am not less than you.

I am a wonderful person. Thank you, God.”

Believe you are a valuable person!

Accomplishing your dreams is dependant upon your

ability to see yourself as a worthwhile, deserving human
being. Remember that you are a valuable person.
People enjoy spending time with you. Your friends and
family love you. God loves you. You were put on this
earth for a purpose. You deserve to succeed along with
everyone else. If you don’t believe in yourself – why
should anyone else?

Tell yourself you have MUCH to contribute!

Remember – your subconscious believes what you tell it.

Would you hang around with a best friend that continually
puts you down and tells you that you can’t do anything?

Then don’t do it to yourself!

Tell yourself you are a good, worthwhile person, and then

believe it!
Why should anyone else believe you – if you don’t believe
yourself?
People will respect you only as much as you respect
yourself.

14
If you have low self esteem and believe that you are
undeserving of success, and happiness - you are much
more likely not to attract opportunities or not see them
when they show up.

How do you learn to be self confident? In the beginning,

you might find you have to pretend! Yes that’s right.
Remember - what you imagine can become your reality.
Imagine yourself as self confident, and you will be
confident. Visualize yourself as a self confident person,
you will start doing things that a self confident person
would do and you will attract other confident people to
you.

Some people have wonderful friends and family who

support them and believe in them, until they can believe
in themselves.

Others are not so fortunate. They are alone in striving for

their goals. They have friends and family who tell them to
give up – that they will never amount to anything.

Don’t believe them!

Don’t let them control who you become or what you do

with your life. It will be extremely difficult to ignore this,
but get away from that thinking and surround yourself with
people who know your self worth and believe that you can
do anything you put your mind to.

You can’t change what circumstances you were born into,

but you can stop and change the direction you are
headed - and live the life you want to live.

“No one makes you feel inferior

without your permission.”
Eleanor Roosevelt

Secrets of Wealth #6

Affirmations

A big part of realizing your dreams and goals is by

affirming your belief in yourself.
It helps you stay on track toward your goals, by not only
telling your subconscious that you are worthy, but that
you have already accomplished your dreams!
Write them down to make them real. Read them and
reread them until they are planted firmly in your mind.
Use them for personal changes. Use them for changes in
your job. Use them to let you know how wonderful you
feel after having achieved your goals.

Some examples of written affirmations:

• I love being the top salesperson in my

company. It feels great!
• I love giving 10% to my favorite
charities.
• I am thrilled that I made $150,000 by
December 31, 200_.

• I am thankful that I am disciplined. I

love working hard to achieve my goals.
I love relaxing when my goals are
reached!

This can be used to help you develop a more clear picture

of what you want to be, and why. After you have
determined what you want to give to others, and what
dreams and goals you want to achieve for yourself, write
them down as if they are already done.

Think about the types of qualities you admire in others.

What about those you admire in yourself? Think about

16
the steps you might have to take to help realize your
dreams. If you have always wanted to open your own
business, keep in mind you must be organized,
dedicated, enthusiastic, and continually learning.
Affirmations for this can be:
• I am organized
• I am positive.
• I am energetic
• I am focused
• I am constantly learning new things
• I listen to my customer’s wants and needs
• I am disciplined
• I am always looking for ways to improve my
business

You are what you want to be.

What do you want to tell yourself - that you want to be?

“Whether you think you can or you think you

can’t………………………you’re right.”
Henry Ford

Secrets of Wealth #7

Law of Attraction

How many of you bought the one and only beautiful,

distinctive, new automobile – only to start seeing them on
the road every time you turned around – after you brought
yours home?

It is an example of the LAW OF ATTRACTION:

What you think about – you attract!

So…..if you really like your new vehicle – your mind will
focus on that, and in turn, it will notice all the other
vehicles just like it!

Want to be a great parent? Think of that and your mind

will start observing people around you that are great
parents! (It will also point out to you what not to do – from
other observations!)

Want to serve others better?

Think of that and you will start finding ways to serve

others.

People attract what they think about. If you think

positively, you will attract positive outcomes. If you think
negatively, everything that happens to you will either be
“poor me” or “but someone else has it better”. If you look
for the good, that is exactly what you will find. If you look
for the good and have a positive outlook, people will take
notice and want to be around you.

Think of financial abundance and you mind will become

full of new ideas and possibilities that you never thought
of before!

18
Need help to do this?

Read books, listen to tapes, attend seminars, hire a

coach, or join a group. Fill your mind with what you want
to be! Talk to people who have the skills you want to
have.

An Olympic runner does not spend all day reading about

swimming.

A basketball player does not spend all of his practice time

playing hockey.

If you want change in your life – focus on it, search for it,
and you will discover it.

If you want wealth in your life – read, listen, look for it, and
act on it!

Focus on what you want and your mind will take you to it!

There are thousands of people wandering around wishing

their lives were different on any given day. Don’t be one
of those people that are “wishing” their way through life –
take charge now!

Remember………….Your life – Your choices!

19
Secrets of Wealth #8

Love Discipline!

How many times have you told people about the hard
work you had to do as a kid? During every one of those
times, did you forget to include the part about where you
whined and didn’t want to do it? (I always skip that part!)
Why is it that we don’t want to do the work in the
beginning, but when we are done, that is all we can talk
about?
Is it because we know that it isn’t about the work at all –
it’s about the person it has made us become?
Do we appreciate what we did to get where we are?

Now that we are adults, let’s skip the whining part, get to
work with our lives, and love what we become and what
we accomplish!

Everyone has habits. Some are good habits; Eating

healthy is a good habit. Exercising regularly is a good
habit. The habits that get the attention, however, are bad
habits. The bad habits stop you from living that fantastic
life you hope for.

Everyone makes choices; bad habits are simply the result

of poor choices; choices that you have the power to
control. Before you can realize success you must choose
to lay the foundation for good habits. A habit is what we
become comfortable with, often starting it because it is
easier than the alternative. People often become
accustomed to cutting corners because it is easy. What
becomes easy to do once, is often easy to do again, and
again and again. Thus a habit forms.

Before you can realize wealth and success you must take
small steps to identify what habits in your life are bad for
you and get rid of them!

20
It can be done – but make sure you realize it is a serious
business! Don’t take it lightly! The person who says “I
know I should change this or that” is not committed to
changing anything. The person who says “I will start that
tomorrow” doesn’t seriously plan on starting anything.

Remember, you do not have to overcome all of your bad

habits in one night. In fact, the surest way to fail is to
attempt to remove all of the bad habits from your life in a
short period of time. Work on the most important habit
that is blocking your road to success and replace it with a
habit that will move you toward your dreams and goals.

Expect that you’ll have some moments of weakness. Do

not beat yourself up if you fall back into old patterns
occasionally. You did not learn the bad habits overnight,
and it will take persistent effort and a little time before you
completely get rid of them.

You will eventually wonder how you ever got into the
‘habit’ of cutting corners in the first place. Adding
discipline into your life in the small things – gives you the
self-confidence you need – to be disciplined in the big
things.

Replacing bad habits with good ones will help you learn to
re-channel your energy into successful, wealth producing
ventures. Everyone also knows one or two people
they’ve dealt with that encourage their bad habits. For
you to truly succeed you must distance yourself from
anyone who would discourage you from achieving your
goals.

• If you want to think positive thoughts – be around

positive people.
• If you want to learn how to serve others – be around
people who serve others

21
• If you want to focus on God - be around people who
have God at the center of their lives.
• If you want help in your career – be around people
who have been where you are and have succeeded
to where you want to be.

You must take charge of your life and get rid of the main
enemies toward the life abundance that you want and
deserve - procrastination, excuses, blame, low self-
esteem, laziness and avoidance. Avoidance is perhaps
the biggest enemy that people have. Too many people
spend long periods of their lives avoiding. This is
accomplished in many ways; by keeping busy constantly,
and not thinking about the things that are happening in
your life is a classic avoidance behavior. Your life will
pass you by if you consistently avoid thinking of the things
you don’t want to. How will you see the good things that
could happen to you?

Avoidance thinking is letting your life slide by and you

can’t slide uphill. You can only slide in one direction and
that is down. Recognize this reality and you will be on
your way to taking control and realizing your potential for
wealth abundance in all areas of your life!
The key to success and wealth is developing successful
habits. Identify the habits that you want to change – then
instantly replace them with something new – so that they
can’t creep back in!

Start today. The life you want to lead depends on it!

“I hated every minute of the training. But I said,

“Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life
as a champion.”
…Muhammad Ali

22
Secrets of Wealth #9

Be Accountable!

I was going to be a big walker in the mornings before

work. I could easily do it before I went to work and before
my husband went to work – so that he could be with the
children – because they were little yet.
For the first 4 weeks – guess how much walking I did? If
you are thinking zero – you are right! Tired – up all night
with the kids – stayed up late to get work done – excuses
– excuses!

Then – my neighbor calls. Did I want to walk in the

mornings with her? Sure! How many times do you think I
called her up and said that I couldn’t make it or just didn’t
show up? Zero! Dead tired – I was there. Rain – I was
there. Why? Because I knew her word was good and
that she would be there.

Accountability is one of the most powerful things we

can do for ourselves.

It makes us do what we want to do – but lack the

discipline to do it on our own – in the beginning.
Accountability doesn’t mean you are too weak to do it on
your own. Just the opposite. It means you are so
passionate about wanting to change your life in whatever
area – that you will do whatever it takes to keep you from
failing. You will do what it takes to help yourself succeed
and achieve your goals. Sometimes – depending on the
area that you want to change – a friend can be the wrong
choice to be accountable to.

Why?

Because they let you off the hook too easy. They either
don’t want to be the tough bad guy – that makes you look

23
at your actions – or they don’t really want you to succeed
because it will make them feel bad about themselves – or
they are just jealous.

I know.

Years ago – I use to be the friend who didn’t want to “hurt

their feelings”. I didn’t want to be the bad guy. I even
helped them find excuses! I wasn’t being a friend at all.
A real friend makes you be accountable for what you want
to do – and helps you do it by giving you – nicely – that
kick in the butt – when you need it!

24
Secrets of Wealth #10

Focus on your Goal

“Focus and Concentration are the KEYS to high

performance.”
Brian Tracy

Wealth is a result of excellent planning, focused

commitment and constant action.
Those that achieve their goals do so because they never
consider not winning, not achieving, not reaching all of
their dreams. Staying focused on your goal will help you
achieve your dreams more quickly and easily.

People who achieve wealth never give up!

You will run into a variety of obstacles during your pursuit

of wealth and success. The key to achieving your goals
is facing the problems directly, solving them and moving
on. If you allow indecision to take place, you will find
yourself frustrated and defeated.

Focused Commitment is power.

With a sharp focus and passionate desire, nothing will

come between you and your dreams.

Stay focused on your goals. Consciously decide to take

control and to follow the steps toward your goal. Don’t let
daily distractions; little problems, big problems, or
seemingly insurmountable obstacles get in the way. It is
your dream and you will achieve it!

25
“When every physical and mental resource is
focused, one’s power to solve a problem multiplies
tremendously.”
Norman Vincent Peale

26
Secrets of Wealth #11

ASK!

Ask and it shall be given

Seek and ye shall find
Knock and the door will be opened.
Matthew 7:7

Do you notice the first letter of each line? A – S – K.

In fact, if you look at verses 7 – 11, you will notice that the
word ‘ask’ is used 6 times. (TLB) What do you think God
is trying to get across?

If you want to take 10, 20, 100 times longer to learn

something, that your problem. Get over it. The people
that have an urgency, know they want to get things done,
and are not afraid to say they don’t know something, are
going to be the ones that ask, and succeed first!
People are always willing to help. They remember when
someone helped them. If you ask somebody and they
don’t want to help you, move on. Don’t worry about those
types of people anymore. Find the successful individual
that knows he didn’t get where he is all by himself. They
love to give back. They love to help. Then………………..
You do the same.

Let others ASK you.

Encourage others as you were encouraged.

Give back as others have given to you.
Give to charities. Give to your church. Give to people in
need all around you.
Give – so that your life will have been worth something
wonderful. It is in giving – not in receiving – that our true
joy exists.

27
Secrets of Wealth #12

Take Action!

This one seems so obvious – yet it is the biggest killer of

all dreams.

You will never achieve your goals…UNLESS you take

action!

Believe it or not, you must actually work toward your

goals in order to realize them!

Ideas, dreams and goals are nice, but you are not going
to get anywhere by just thinking about them. You can
dream for years and years; you can establish goals and
objectives; you can plan, and plan, and plan some more.
NOTHING will happen unless you take action.

Get off the Couch!

Far too many dreams have been shattered by people who

imagined success, imagined wealth, but never took the
time to act on their dreams. The worst thing you can do
for yourself and for your business is to imagine your
wealth but never act on it.

You don’t want to spend a lifetime wondering what might

have been, what could have been, what if.

What is the worst thing that could happen? You will fail.
So What? The best lessons are learned in our failures.
Now you know what not to do next time. The most
successful people in business tell stories about failing not
only once, but sometimes many times before they
succeeded. What if they had given up?

28
You may find that you need to modify your plan of action.

You may discover that you will face more challenges than
you initially expected.

You will never know success unless you try.

You will never feel that happiness that comes from

working hard and being able to say “I did it!” That would
not be possible without taking action. Action creates
more action. Action causes you to reach your goals and
dreams. Action results in wealth.

Develop more than one plan of action. Consider what

might happen if things do not go your way. No matter
what decisions you take in life, you are bound to run into
obstacles and problems. Plan for them.
If you have a goal that you have never reached ask
yourself these questions:
1. What obstacles have prevented me from taking
action on this goal in the past?
2. What steps do I need to take to resolve the
situation?
3. What is keeping me from starting right now?
4. How can I change that so I will start now?

Write down all of the pros and cons related to your action
step. Revise your action steps so that you are left with
the pros far outweighing the cons.

This is where your “Why” is important.

Consider what good will come to you and to others - as a

result of you taking action on your goals and dreams.

“People begin to become successful the minute they

decide to be.”
Harvey Mackay

Taking action involves making decisions. Decisions have
consequences; be prepared to face the consequences. If
you step up to the plate and make decisions in your life,
you will realize that is the only way anything will get done.

Taking action does not require that you make a

momentous decision that will change your life forever.
Small steps lead to larger ones. Making small decisions
puts you into the habit of making any kind of decision, so
the bigger ones will be easier.

If you find yourself having a difficult time making choices

and taking action, consider enlisting the assistance of
friends who have achieved their goals and dreams. Enlist
the help of a family member or friend, who can take those
first steps with you.

Hire a coach to help you achieve your goals faster. Good

coaches can take years off of the learning curve. With
the guidance of a coach, you will learn to overcome your
fears and concerns, and you’ll become disciplined and
able to move ahead on your own.

“It’s in your moments of decision

that your destiny is shaped.”
Anthony Robbins

Continue to Learn!

Learning is critical to making changes in your life and

reaching your dreams.

You must keep learning about yourself as life progresses.

You must learn from your experiences, learn from the
obstacles and challenges you have faced, and learn from
your successes!

Everything you do in your journey to find wealth and

success can be a learning opportunity.

If you have a bad experience with one of your customers,

learn from it. Try to understand why things went bad.
The next time you have the opportunity to work with a
customer this knowledge will help you make the
experience better. Your customer will appreciate that you
cared enough to learn and change things for them.

Think back to a time when you had a negative

experience. This could have been a time with a customer
or a co-worker when things didn’t go your way. Maybe
you had an argument with a friend. Take some time to
write about the experience. Make a list of all of the things
that went wrong.

Next, write down why you feel things went wrong. Write
down what you learned from the experience. Remember
that every experience provides an opportunity for
learning.

Now consider a new scenario.

Write down what you would have like to have happened

in the situation described. For example, perhaps you got

31
into an argument with a customer. Imagine now, that you
talked things through with the customer instead. Write
down what would happen if that customer walked away
happy.

Remember that every opportunity is a learning

experience. Life is a learning process. To be successful,
to reap the rewards of your efforts, you must first make a
commitment to learning. Every interaction you have,
every experience you participate in, all of these events
must be considered learning experiences. Find out
what other people have done in similar fields, with similar
interests. Learn from their experiences, mistakes,
successes and gains.

Form a group in your field of interest that is committed to

learning and helping each other. There are already many
organizations that were formed for that exact purpose.

NEVER STOP reading the books, listening to the tapes,

and going to seminars! The only reason that you think
that some did not help you – is that you weren’t ready to
be taught.

You are now ready!

Read – Listen – Watch – Learn!

“If you feed your mind as often as you feed your

stomach, then you’ll never have to worry about
feeding your stomach or a roof over your head or
clothes on your back.”
Albert Einstein

Enjoy the Journey!

“It does little good to make the trip and miss the
journey.”
Max Lucado

Savor – Relax – Laugh – Give – Enjoy! Learn from your

journey. Enjoy your journey!

During many times in your life, you may feel overwhelmed

and just plain tired. Relax!

Take time out to appreciate yourself and what you have

accomplished.

You can do this many ways. Had a busy, tough day? Go

to a movie or out to eat. Finally reached a big goal you
were working for? Take a wonderful vacation to a place
you’ve always wanted to go.

It won’t do you any good to achieve your dreams if you

had absolutely no fun in the process. Wealth without joy
is worthless.

Life is an adventure.

Reflect, laugh, love, enjoy!

Set New Goals

Keep your passion alive!

Get a new Goal!

Successful entrepreneurs know that the key to repeated

success is constant growth. You need to continue to
grow. You need to continue to learn. Wealth, gratitude,
fulfillment, and joy are just some of the results of a life
that is always moving forward toward new goals.

Write down your new goal!

Start brainstorming ways to make this dream happen.

Start the process all over again - of finding out your whys,
mapping out your plans and moving toward your goal.

The path to wealth, success, achievement and happiness

is easily duplicated. Once you have achieved your first
success, you will know what it takes for the next goal.

Remember – you are not what it is all about – what you

do for others is.

Secrets of Wealth #16

Be Thankful

Thank you God.

Be thankful for what you have now.

Be thankful for what your “vision” shows you that you will
have.

If you can’t be thankful for whatever you have now – you

will never be content or thankful – no matter how much
you achieve in life.

Take time to thank your family and friends for supporting

you and for believing in you.

Thank your customers for patronizing your business.

Thank your employees for helping you.

You find what you look for, so if you look for things to be
thankful for………….guess what you will find?

You only go through this life once.

Look around at what you have been given.

Appreciate who and what you have in your life.

Look for the good.

Give thanks in all things.

Faith

“When you come to the edge of all the light you

know, and are about to step off into the darkness of
the unknown, faith is knowing one of two things will
happen: there will be something solid to stand on, or
you will be taught how to fly.”
Barbara J. Winter

Some people can go through life saying they did it on their

own. These are either the ignorant people or the insecure
group.
The ones that have worked hard, been dedicated, never gave
up………they know that they had help in a spiritual force.
Different people call it a strong force, an invisible power, a
spiritual connection.

I call him God.

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

I know that I have done nothing alone.

I know that everything in my life is richer, more beautiful, and

more filled with love, because of God and what he had done for
me and what he has given me.

The more successful the person, the more secure the person –
the more they freely acknowledge – that the energy and clarity
and power that comes when they trust someone other than
themselves, is tremendous.

They take more risks.

The greater the risk – the greater the reward.

36
They have their priorities right. They don’t just “say” God,
family, and career; they actually live it.

You have the power and the ability to realize your goals and
dreams.

Write down your goals. Be persistent. Take action! Focus!

You can and you will win. You can and you will achieve.
Be thankful for the wealth that you already have in your life.

Give to others.

Keep everything in perspective, love God, give to others and

you Will find true wealth, happiness and success.

I would wish you good luck, but you don’t need it! You have
within you the power to achieve, the power to have abundance
in every part of your life.

Be Thankful

Be Giving

Be Loving

Be Serving

Be YOU!

Your Life – Your Choice.

God Bless!
