1) Field names must be short n meaningful (concise)
2) Filed name must not contain spaces

RELATIONSHIP
Relationship are used to establish links among tables in a database.

When you link a primary key in table A to a foreign key in table B.

Query is used to ask the computer questions.


How to create a report?

NB queries are meant for technical uses reports are used for end users.

anything that comes before E and E.

STEPS:
1. Go to create on the menu
2. Use query wizard
3. Click simple query
4. Click on the table you are choosing then take it to the other side
5. Add the question number
6. Go to design view

The World Wide Web is usually mistaken for the Internet, but there r some differences

 www is a collection of web pages/ info pages, it's part of the internet
 www is accessed through the internet
 it is a service on the internet
 The internet is a global network of interconnecting networks
 The internet is an infrastructure

A skl is planning to set up a student work files area, the skl is considering allowing students to log into it
either using the skls internet or intranet. Discuss the disad n adv as to y they shld use intranet rather

 Restrict access for certain ppl/employees

Line graphs are for trend analysis (increase in salary structures etc)

Steps in creating a chart:


 Select or highlight numeric values
 From the menu bar click on insert, locate the chart
 Select the appropriate chart
 Right click n go to selelct data

Features of a chart
 A good chart must have an appropriate title
 A chart must have axis titles
 A chart may have a legend

There are two types of notes:


 Presenter notes
 Audience notes
Audience notes are the slides content.
Presenter notes are the notes available to the presenter. It is the notes that serves as a guide to
the presenter.
Animations n transitions
Transitions are effects that are applied from one slide to another slide. It shows how one slide
exits and how another enters.
*To show evidence of transitions, screenshot the stars at the top right of the slides.
Animations describes the movement of objects on a slide.
*To show evidence for animations, screenshot the numbers beside the animated elements.

the internet compared with an intranet.

(b) Email is a service provided by the internet for each of the following problems associated
with email, describe methods of protecting your data.
i. Spam – don’t reply to spam emails, use a spam email filter, block images
in html messages as these r used as web beacons, unclick check boxes
when buying items online,
ii. Viruses – scan emails and attachments before opening, do not download
attachments from unknown sources, run up to date antivirus software,
do not open spam emails.

 A work sheet is a single spreadsheet document
 Work book is a collection of work sheet in one file name
 A cell is the area formed when a row intersects with a column on a spreadsheet
 The cell is identified by the column letter n row no.
 When text data is stored in a cell, its called a label
