Job Overview

We are hiring a Lab Chemist to manage lab testing and R&D activities in both the laboratory and
plant. The role involves developing and implementing testing methods for new products,
maintaining ISO 9000 records, and leading a small team of lab assistants.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform chemical testing including titrations (SO₂, ammonia, etc.), pH, NTU, and TDS
analysis

• Develop, document, and implement new testing procedures

• Maintain ISO 9000 records and coordinate with the Management Representative (MR)

• Update ISO formats and ensure compliance with departmental objectives

• Supervise and train up to two lab assistants

• Ensure testing accuracy within ±0.2% tolerance

• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments regularly

• Conduct approximately 80% of testing through titration methods


Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of inorganic chemistry and industrial lab practices

• Hands-on experience with lab instruments: pH meter, TDS meter, NTU meter, titration
setups

• Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

• Ability to read, write, and understand English (spoken fluency not required)

• Comfortable with online browsing for research and R&D work

• Must own and be comfortable using an Android-based smartphone
