Answer the following Questions:

1. How do you think your activity is in accordance with the guidelines in making authentic assessments?
This activity is aligned with authentic assessment guidelines as it involves real-world emotional expression, encourages student creativity,
and reflects their personal understanding through an engaging task.

2. How did you ensure that your activity is developmentally appropriate and responsive to overall needs of your
students?
It uses age-appropriate materials like crayons and mirrors and targets emotional development, which is vital at this age. It’s hands-on and
allows freedom of expression, suited for their cognitive and emotional level.

3. Why did you choose that assessment tool, what are your considerations in choosing that specific assessment tool?
I used observation checklists and photo documentation to capture the process, which is crucial in art. Self-assessment
gives children ownership of their work, encouraging reflection in a simple, child-friendly way.

4. What is your vision on the classroom environment that you are making while planning your activity?
The classroom is colorful and buzzing with energy. Children are smiling, focused, and excited to share their emotions
through art. There’s music playing softly in the background, and the teacher guides the activity like a friendly curator.

5. What is your primary consideration in crafting this activity as part of authentic assessment? And why?
My main goal is to help children connect emotions with creative expression. It fosters emotional intelligence, a key part of holistic
development, and gives them a voice through art — something essential yet often overlooked.
