Welcome to IDEATHON 2025 – Idea Generation Worksheet!

This worksheet is your personal tool to help you think creatively, identify real-life
problems, and come up with smart, innovative solutions!

Whether you're new to problem-solving or already bursting with ideas, this worksheet
will guide you step-by-step through the process of turning your thoughts into
powerful ideas.

What is this worksheet for?

This worksheet will help you:


 Observe your surroundings closely and identify real-world problems.
 Use simple tools and thinking methods to generate creative ideas.
 Check if your idea is practical, useful, and ready to take forward.
 Prepare for presenting your idea in Stage-1 of IDEATHON 2025.

Who can use it?

 Students from Class 8 to 12 – whether you’re working alone or with a team, this
guide is for you!

How to use it?

 Take your time. Go through each part one by one. Don’t rush!
 Be honest and creative. There are no right or wrong answers – it’s all about your
thinking.
 Write clearly. Use simple language. Add drawings or sketches if needed.
 Work with friends or mentors. Discussing ideas can help spark better ones.
 Ask questions. If you get stuck, talk to your teacher or use the webinar recording
for help.

Start with Part 1: Discover the Problem and follow along step by step. By the end,
you’ll have a powerful idea you can refine, present, and maybe even turn into a real
product or solution!

PART 1:
Discover the Problem (Problem Identification)
Let’s begin by finding a real problem around you that needs a smart solution.

1. What place or situation are you observing?


(Example: school classroom, home kitchen, public transport, park, etc.)
