Describe a historical building in your
country or city that you know.
You should say:

• what it is and where it is

• when and why it was built
• what it is known for
• and describe what you know about
this historic building.
ANSWER: One historical and
cultural building I’d like to talk about is
the Sonargaon Lokshilpa Jadughar,
or Folk Art and Craft Museum, located
in Sonargaon, near Narayanganj, about
25 kilometers from Capital Dhaka. It’s
situated in the historic Panam City area,
surrounded by greenery and serene
landscapes that add to its charm. The
location itself is rich in history, as
Sonargaon was once the capital of
medieval Bengal and a hub for trade
and culture. (STRUCTURE: 1,2)
The exterior of the museum is both
beautiful and unique. The building
reflects traditional Bengali and colonial
architectural styles, with detailed
patterns on its facade, arched windows,
and an open courtyard. The grounds are
spacious and include a large pond and
well-maintained gardens, which create
a tranquil and inviting atmosphere.
(STRUCTURE: 3)

Inside, the museum houses an

impressive collection of traditional
Bangladeshi art and crafts. Visitors can
see handwoven textiles like muslin,
pottery, wood carvings, and traditional
musical instruments. There are also
displays of jewelry, masks, and tools
that were once used in everyday life and
rituals across the country. The
craftsmanship on display is
extraordinary and showcases the
cultural diversity of Bangladesh.
(STRUCTURE: 4)

The museum provides several facilities

to make the visit more enjoyable.
Guided tours are available to help
visitors learn about the exhibits, and
there’s a small souvenir shop where you
can buy handmade crafts. It also hosts
educational workshops to promote folk
art, making it a vibrant cultural hub.
(STRUCTURE: 5)

The museum was established in 1975

by the government of Bangladesh to
preserve and celebrate the country’s
folk traditions. It is widely known for its
extensive collection and its significance
as a symbol of Bangladeshi culture.
(STRUCTURE: 6)
Whenever I visit, I feel deeply
connected to my country’s history and
traditions. The beauty of the artifacts
and the peaceful environment leaves me

Q:
Describe A Big/Large Company you
are interested in
you should say

• what kind of company it is

• what the company does
• why you are interested in it
• and explain how you became
interested in this company.

ANSWER:

I want to talk about Tesla, Inc., a

global leader in electric vehicles and
renewable energy, known for its
cutting-edge technologies and
commitment to sustainability. Tesla is
headquartered in Palo Alto, California,
but its operations span across the
globe, with major manufacturing
facilities in the United States, China,
and Germany. (STRUCTURE:1,2)

Tesla was founded in 2003 by Martin

Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning,
though it gained prominence under
Elon Musk, who joined shortly after
and transformed the company. Tesla
started small, focusing on creating a
luxury electric sports car, the Roadster,
in 2008. Over the years, it expanded to
mass-market models like the Model S,
Model 3, and Model Y, as well as
renewable energy products such as
solar panels and battery storage
systems. (STRUCTURE:3)

When Tesla began, it had only a

handful of engineers striving to bring
electric vehicles to life. Today, the
company employs tens of thousands of
people globally, including top
engineers, factory workers, and
software developers. Its growth from a
small startup to a massive
multinational company is truly
remarkable. (STRUCTURE:4,5)

Tesla has redefined the automotive

industry by proving that electric
vehicles can be both efficient and high
performing. This shift has encouraged
other companies to invest in
sustainable technologies, making a
broader impact on the industry. It has
also raised awareness about
sustainability and helped more people
adopt environmentally friendly
practices. (STRUCTURE:6,7,8)

What truly inspires me about Tesla is

its bold vision of a sustainable future. I
first became interested in the company
after watching a documentary about its
early struggles and successes. Learning
how Tesla overcame challenges to
revolutionize the industry left a lasting
impression on me. It motivates me to
believe that innovation can solve even
the biggest challenges.

Q:
Describe a foreign country you have
never been to.
You should say:

• where the country is

• when you plan to visit this country
• why you would like to go there
• and explain why this is a good
country to visit.
Answer:

A foreign country I have never been to

but would love to visit is Japan.
Located in East Asia, Japan is an
island nation surrounded by the Pacific
Ocean. It is known for its unique blend
of ancient traditions and modern
technology. (STRUCTURE:1,)
The people of Japan are often
described as polite, friendly, and
disciplined. They place a strong
emphasis on respect and punctuality,
which I find admirable. In terms of
appearance, people in Japan have a
distinctive sense of fashion, ranging
from traditional kimonos to modern,
trendy outfits. This variety makes their
culture fascinating and vibrant.
(STRUCTURE:2)

Japanese cuisine is another major

reason I want to visit. Traditional
dishes like sushi, ramen, and tempura
are world-famous, and I’ve always
wanted to try them in their authentic
form. Compared to the food in my
country, Japanese food emphasizes
simplicity and fresh ingredients, which
is very different but equally appealing.
(STRUCTURE:3)

Japan's natural beauty is stunning. The

country has diverse landscapes,
including Mount Fuji, cherry blossom
gardens, and serene parks. I would
love to visit Kyoto to see its bamboo
forests and historic temples or explore
the beaches in Okinawa. These natural
attractions make Japan an ideal
destination for someone who enjoys
both relaxation and adventure.
(STRUCTURE:4)

When it comes to entertainment, Japan

offers a lot. Cities like Tokyo are home
to world-class museums, vibrant theme
parks like Disneyland, and iconic
monuments such as the Tokyo Tower.
The blend of modern attractions and
traditional landmarks ensures there’s
something for everyone.
(STRUCTURE:5)

I plan to visit Japan in the spring to

witness the cherry blossoms in full
bloom. I’ve always been drawn to their
beauty and seeing them in person is on
my bucket list. (STRUCTURE:6)

I feel excited just thinking about it.

Japan’s rich history, welcoming
people, and breathtaking scenery make
it a perfect place to explore and
experience something new. Visiting
Japan would not just be a trip but an
unforgettable cultural journey.

Q: Describe a place you visited that

was full of color
You should say:

• What place it was?

• Why did you go there?
• What did you do there?
• And explain why you think it was
full of color

ANSWER:
A place I visited that was full of color
is Sreemangal, often called the "Tea
Capital of Bangladesh." Located in the
Sylhet region, this area is famous for
its lush green tea gardens, vibrant
landscapes, and diverse cultural
heritage.

I visited Sreemangal during the winter

season as part of a family trip to
explore its natural beauty and relax in
its peaceful environment. The journey
itself was exciting, but the destination
was even more breathtaking.

Sreemangal is like a painter’s canvas.

The endless rows of tea gardens are a
vibrant green, dotted with colorful
flowers and surrounded by rolling
hills. The place comes alive with the
bright attire of the tea workers, who
pick leaves while singing traditional
songs. The clear blue skies and the
occasional sight of colorful butterflies
add to the charm.

The area is popular with both locals

and international tourists. Many come
to enjoy the tranquility of the tea
gardens, visit the Lawachara National
Park, or learn about the indigenous
communities living nearby. Everyone I
met was warm and welcoming, eager
to share stories about their culture and
traditions.

Food in Sreemangal is another

highlight. I enjoyed traditional Bengali
meals, fresh fruits, and their famous
seven-layer tea, which is both delicious
and visually stunning. Each layer has a
distinct color and flavor, making it a
truly unique experience.

While there, I explored the tea gardens,

visited the park to see wildlife, and
spent time relaxing by the Madhabpur
Lake. Every corner of Sreemangal felt
alive with color, whether it was the
natural scenery, the people, or the
cultural activities.
Sreemangal is full of color because of
its lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and
the lively culture of the people. It’s a
peaceful yet dynamic place that offers
a perfect escape from the chaos of city
life.

I felt rejuvenated and inspired by my

visit. The combination of natural
beauty and cultural richness made it an
unforgettable trip, and I would love to
go back someday.

near water, and full of animals.
