Explore France: Paris - A Journey of Discovery and Learning
Destination: France
Duration: 8 Days
Objective:
To provide students of Scottish High International School with a unique
opportunity to explore the rich history, culture, and natural beauty of France,
while fostering global understanding, cultural exchange, and educational
enrichment.
Itinerary:
As outlined below, the tour will include visits to iconic landmarks, cultural
institutions, and historical sites in Paris and Versailles.
Learning Outcomes:
Cultural awareness and understanding of French customs and traditions
Historical knowledge of significant events and figures that shaped France
Appreciation of art, architecture, and literature from the region
Development of critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
Enhanced global perspective and empathy towards diverse cultures
Safety and Security:
The safety and security of the students will be the top priority.
The group will be accompanied by experienced escorts and guides.
Emergency contact numbers and first-aid kits will be available at all times.
Each day has been customized to bring out and hone the different aspects of a child’s
personality. The Cultural Exchange Program will be duly supervised by the travelling
teachers and Memories Maker’s tour director. Safety and security of the students is
our prime concern and quality services will be provided. The students will have an
enriching experience.

DAY-1 - PARIS
Arrival CDG Airport – Welcoming

DAY-2 - VERSAILLES
Proceed for a day tour of Versailles

DAY- 3 -PARIS Shopping at Val d'Europe
School Cultural Exchange Program
Montmartre Sacré-Coeur Basilica situated on
the Montmartre Hill
Walk behind the Sacre Coeur to visit Place
du Tertre which is famous for Local Artists
and souvenir shops
Free time to visit the local market
Going to Chatelet les Halles
DAY- 4 - PARIS
School Cultural Exchange Program
Witness the engineering marvel – The Eiffel
Tower and enjoy the Views of Paris city from
the top.
A walking tour in the Latin Quarters of Paris,
Notre Dame Cathedral and the City Island
DAY-5 - PARIS Shopping at Local market or shopping mall.
School Cultural Exchange Program
Proceed to visit The Louvre Museum.
Treasure hunt to discover the history of the
kings of France.
You will be in French-Indian pairs and must
be equipped with a smartphone.
Your mission: you will introduce the history of
the kings of France to your Indian partner.
During free time, you will fill out the
questionnaire on Leonardo da Vinci and
humanism with your partner.

DAY-6 -DISCOVER PARIS' ICONIC HEARTBEAT!
Visit the majestic Arc de Triomphe, honoring
Napoleon's triumphs.
Stroll along the glamorous Champs-Élysées,
where elegance meets excitement:
- Upscale boutiques and cafes
- Legendary theaters and cabarets
- Street performers and live music
DAY- 8 - PARIS - TIME TO BID ADIEU!
Hotel Check-out
Transfer to Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)
Flight-dependent schedule:
Morning: Last-minute shopping/sightseeing (if
time allows)

Post-Program Activity
As a part of the Educational and Cultural
Exchange Program to France, students are
required to maintain a journal throughout
their journey.
Journal Competition
The best journal will be awarded an exciting
prize and a certificate! The journal should
include:
- Daily experiences and observations
- Reflections on cultural differences and
similarities
- Insights gained from the program
- Photographs and memorabilia
Submission guidelines will be shared
separately.
Note: This is a preliminary program details and the final day-wise itinerary will be amended as per the
flights schedule, however, all the above mentioned places will be covered.

Inclusion:
Flights: Round-trip flights from Delhi and Mumbai
Accommodation: Hotel accommodation for the duration of the tour
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner as per the program, featuring a variety of cuisines,
including: - India - French- Italian- Continental
Visa Assistance: Visa assistance and processing fees
Transportation: All local transportation, including airport transfers
Tour Management: Services of a dedicated Tour Manager and Tour Directo
School Program: Participation in a school program in Paris, including a certificate
Entrance Tickets: All entrance tickets to attractions and landmarks as per the program.
Certificates: Certificate from French School
Beverages: 2 water bottles per day in the coach

Meals at the airport

Payment Guidelines
To secure your spot, please follow these payment guidelines:
Payment Mode: Cheque in favor of the Organizer or online.
Last Date of Confirmation
To confirm your participation, please submit the consent form and program fee to the class
teacher by 25 January 2025. Note: Flight fare difference will be charged for registrations received
after the deadline.
Payment Policy
Total Program Cost: ₹ 2,10,000 + TCS ₹ 10,500 (refundable)
Inclusions: Visa fees, travel insurance, airfare, hotel, airport transfers, all attractions, and
meals as mentioned in the itinerary.
Payment Schedule:
- 25 Jan: ₹ 50,000
- 10 Feb: ₹ 50,000
- 25 Feb: ₹ 50,000
- 5 March: ₹ 60,000 + TCS ₹ 10,500 (refundable)
TCS Policy
TCS shall be claimed by the Pan Card Holder at the time of filing the Return.
Cancellation Policy : Please note the following
90 days before departure: ₹ 40,000/- (Non-Refundable) + actual VISA fee + air ticket
cancellation charges (if applicable)
Within 60 days of travel: No refund except actual air ticket refund (if applicable)
VISA denial: ₹ 40,000/- (Non-Refundable) + actual VISA fee + air ticket cancellation charges (if
applicable) + any deposit paid to suppliers
