IPS-N
Morgan
Artillery/Support
R: Can you make the shot?
W: Ha. Can I?
R: ...Well, can y-
W: Of course I can!
A recent public release from IPS-N after an undisclosed length of
time in an 'experimental' phase, the Morgan is IPS-N’s answer to
a frequently asked question amongst Albatross Members: Why even
let the pirates get close? Boasting a unique Hyper Active
Targeting Suite, additional weapon bracing, and the
affectionately named "Broadside" Tactical Support Satellite, the
Morgan is a machine designed with the express purpose to blast
out targets with long range fire.
The Morgan’s initial drafts were alterations to the Blackbeard
frame, and maintained many similar design choices throughout its
refinement. The frame’s reactor generated far more heat than
could be sustained without external cooling while operating its
equipment, and much of its extra plating had to be removed to
account for the enhanced sensor suite and more complex processing
unit; but aesthetically the two could be confused at a distance…
If one were to ignore the giant guns sported by Morgan chassis,
that is.

Falconet Anti-Armor Cannon
Main Cannon
[10 Range] [1d3 Kinetic Damage]
The Falconet's rounds embed into the target, exploding after a short delay.
ON HIT
At the end of the target’s next turn, the Falconet explodes, dealing 4AP Explosive damage.
While one is in the heat of battle, a long delay fuse may seem detrimental; the ability
to almost completely ignore armor on the secondary explosion is second to none.

1/Round as a Quick Action, expend a charge. At the start of your next turn, one currently unloaded loading
weapon becomes loaded.
IPS-N had found that most auto loaders are too heat intensive for the mechs that they deem
in need of one. The ingenious solution after 7 years of endless overtime and thousands of
Manna was to… just slow it down.

This weapon gains the AP tag, and deals an additional +10 AP damage to Objects and Terrain.
Utilizing specialized ammunition stocks fitted with drill heads to bore into the plating
on star ships, IPS-N's patented Bore Shells make quick work of even the thickest targets.
Initial designs originate with company stellar mining crews using similar, though larger
scale, drill-tipped sabots for asteroid decomposition at range.

The Bunker Drone projects a Height 1 Line 3 wall that passes through itself while
it is deployed, itself being the center. This wall is Hard Cover. You may recall or
redeploy the Bunker drone as a quick action. Until recalled or destroyed, it remains
deployed until the end of the scene.
In an artillerist’s career, sometimes the grid coordinates which you shoot at, shoot back.
No one likes that. Engineers and pilots alike have tried to come up with thousands of
overly complex solutions for this problem. Turns out the easiest one was just to put up a
maneuverable barrier to block the return fire from any direction. Who would’ve thought?

Ancient and from before the Fall, the venerable Sabot Shell is beloved by Mech Jockeys
and Tankers across the galaxy. This Cannon in particular packs a punch higher than
standard, though it does pay for that in its hefty weight.
Suppressing Lock
2 SP, Limited 3, Unique
2/Scene, when you apply the Lock on condition, you may also apply the Slowed condition to
the target for the same duration. When a character consumes this Lock On, the target takes
2 Heat.
Adding a self-disguising malware package into the Lock/Scan system, while somewhat
resource intensive, makes a major difference in both short- and long-range engagements.
