Overview
Summary

GE Multilin releases the 4.03 firmware version for the MIVII Digital Voltage and Frequency Relay. Highlights of this

Description

The version 4.03 release is compatible with the EnerVista MII Setup 2.41 and higher.

Version 4.03 includes a function to upgrade the values of the LTU to their corresponding Modbus directions.

Frequency Protection Enhancement

In versions 4.01 and 4.02 of MIVII2000 and MIV3000, delivered between July 2005 and August 2008, if the
frequency protection functions are enabled, the time delay is set to zero seconds and with heavy noise in the line,
when the relay is powered up there is a remote chance of having an undesired trip.

Version 4.03 includes an enhanced frequency protection filter in order to guarantee a secure protection
even under extreme conditions.
