Marketing Plan
Special Turon is a delicious Filipino snack, perfect for a quick and tasty treat between
classes or during a study break. Made with sweet ripe bananas wrapped in a crispy,
golden-brown wrapper, it’s a satisfying combination of textures and flavors. This sweet
and satisfying snack is perfect for students, teachers, and everyone in between!
While many students offered a variety of foods during our entrepreneurship day, our
homemade special turon stood out in several ways. The perfectly caramelized wrapper,
the sweet banana filling, and the hint of secret ingredient created an irresistible
combination. Unlike other competitors who focused on selling many products, we
prioritized a single product to focus on managing, improving, and maintaining its high
quality.
1.3 Location
At Babag 1 National High School, you’ll find a truly special treat: our homemade turon.
Made with a secret family recipe, it’s unlike anything else you’ve tasted.
Looking for a tasty snack? Our special turon is conveniently located in the Adas Building
at Babag 1 National High School. Stop by and grab one today!

1.5 Main Customer
Our main customers are the students and teachers of Babag 1 National High School.
They enjoy our special turon as a delicious and affordable treat.
We’re aiming to sell about 15 sets of 5 turons daily at our school event, priced at 20 per
set. Since this is our first time selling and there’s competition, we expect our actual sales
might be lower than our goal. We’ll use social media to boost sales, but it’s hard to predict
exactly how many we’ll sell.
We’re using our social media page to promote our special turon! We post mouthwatering
photos and videos to showcase its deliciousness. We also engage with comments and
messages to build excitement. Come check out our page and see what all the fuss is
about!
7
1.9 Marketing strategies
We’re using social media to show off our delicious turon with drool-worthy photos and
videos. We’re also spreading the word at school and offering discounts to build a loyal
customer base. Our goal is to make our special turon the go-to snack for everyone!

1,100 in cash and no equipment). The company has no debt (bank loans or accounts
payable), and positive owner’s equity reflecting both initial investment and accumulated

ending cash balance of Php 1,445.
Special Turon’s exceptional performance in March 2025 included a 175% ROI (Php 700
net profit on a Php 400 investment). This, along with exceeding projected weekly (Php

future growth.

5.1 Market Research
Our market research began with a local investigation. Each team member identified three
successful businesses in their area, analyzing the factors contributing to their success.
We then examined how these businesses’ products and services connected to Maslow’s
Hierarchy of Needs, considering physiological needs, safety, belonging, esteem, and self-
actualization. This research was crucial in helping us understand our potential customers,
the competitive landscape, and the opportunities available within the market.
With this understanding, we brainstormed potential products suitable for our chosen
location: Babag National High School. This brainstorming session yielded three distinct
business ideas: Special Turon, Ice Candy, and Munchkin. While Special Turon is a readily
available product, our approach will differentiate it from the competition. Ice Candy offers
35
an innovative twist with unique flavor profiles. Finally, Munchkin, a flavorful dessert, will
be marketed with a comedic approach to attract customers.
To ensure a fair and democratic selection process, we will utilize a selection checklist to
guide the voting among group members, ultimately choosing the single most promising
business idea to develop further.
