Self study-3rd Meeting

 For your self-study, please read the chapter about Language Choice in

Multilingual Communities.

 After you read, please kindly answer the following questions:

1. What do you understand by a variety/code?

2. What does domain of language use mean?

3. Find Table 2.2 about Domains of language use in the chapter. Create your

own table by identifying your domain of language use, addressee, setting,

topic and variety/code that you use in communication.

4. After you create your own domains of language use, explain why do you

choose to use specific variety/code in that particular domain? (Explain NOT

mentioning!)
